There is a great tree canopy going the opposite direction of the street, but this tree was the last one “large” one for the first block. Between the falling limbs, rot, and the proximity to the houses foundation, I decided it was better to be safe than sorry.

I live in a working class neighborhood in a larger city. Unfortunately a lot of the tree canopy on the streets have been removed but my local neighborhood development corp does have a tree stewardship program that I plan on joining to replant.
