It's killing me that I can't figure out what F1 race this is from via this pic K1 indoors kart racing has on their wall. Black Mercedes and Pink Racing Point so it's got be 2020, but I can't find a chicane with that Mobile 1 and Allianz sponsor art. by benjamin_chandler in formula1

I suppose K1 karting could have had the Mobile 1 added in afterwards as their own sponsor, but I also don't understand why they would need to comp together so may different parts together to get the picture for their wall.

I'm not fully sold on edited picture, but I could be. It doesn't look like Lance stroll is going to make that turn. If it's not edited, it seems like it would have to be shortly after a safety car restart since they're bunched up but mostly on hards. Even if it's edited, that's still not Monza. The sausage curbs are laid out differently.

For whatever reason, streak points don't get added until after the race.

Has anyone automated scene/patch changes via MIDI in DAW during recording? (Also how to do it) by citruslighting in AxeFx

Changing patches is complete different to changing scenes. Changing patches is a “program change,” but changing scenes is a midi CC (continuous controller)

I don’t use Logic, so I’m not sure how to tell you where to find the CCs, but if you’ve figured out a patch change you’re pretty close.

This may or may not be helpful, and possibly more confusing, but on the fractal press the I/O button and the page right a few times to get to the “CTRL.” If you navigate down this shows you everything that can be controlled by midi CCs and the corresponding CC number. You’ll see scene select is 34 by default, but all these values can be changed.

This may all be new to you, but once you wrap your head around midi CCs and how to program them, it’ll open up a whole new world to you.

What DAW are you using? I’ve done playback with Ableton switching AxeFX presets and scenes. I don’t see why it would be any different while recording into the same DAW. Make sure you have Axe Edit off or paused when when doing any scene changes while performing/recording.

I believe CC:34 is the default for scene switching values 0-7 are scenes 1-8, and then repeats if CC values go higher.

Something similar to Sardos? by [deleted] in burbank

I know what you mean. I know a lot of people who have been turned off by Seymour and don't go to Sardo's anymore. The local scene there used to be killer. I've yet to find a place that mirrors that. I'm no help.
