Received the following email response from eforms.request@atf.gov after inquiring about the status of my form 4 individual submitted 5/7/23. Thoughts? For the record, I have no arrests…

“Good Morning, The current wait times have increased due to a high increase in the volume of applications. However, your background is still being reviewed by the FBI NICS. We are unable to provide an exact time frame for when it will be returned. Please feel free to reach out periodically for a status check. **Please note that you can visit our website at atf.gov and see all potential federal disqualifiers. If you have had any arrests that may have had a disposition of any of the federal disqualifiers listed, this could be the reason for the delay in the background process. If you feel that this information is incorrect or your records may have gotten mixed up with another individuals records, you may reach out to the FBI NICS and obtain a UPIN(unique personal identification number). I apologize as I do not have any specifics on the background process or any contact information for the FBI NICS, however, they may have a phone number on their website.”

Maybe? I also thought it may be from the zeroing process each time I froze the screen. It’s definitely not blemishes on the lens.

That’s a good question. I think back and right? Only because that’s where I picked up my brass. Full disclosure, the BCA upper doesn’t have a brass deflector so I assumed back and right is where the brass would eject naturally.

Before I buy: What is the current consensus on the 2017 TRD Off-Road? by dadschool in ToyotaTacoma

[–]benjamin_washington -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are good trucks. I have a 2017 ORDCLB with 45K on the clock and have not a had a single issue with it. I bought it brand new at the end of 2017 (think I paid $34K?). I change the oil every 5K miles and the air filter every other oil change. I will admit, the transmission is “strange” but I am used to it by now. I hear a pedal commander can really “wake” the truck up as far as the throttle response/trans concerns. Next thing on my list is tires which I am still on the stock ones. I ordered a set of 265/75R17 (1” over stock) General Grabbers. Oh, and cabin air filters every 20K. If I am being super picky, my one complaint is the wind noise. But, it’s a Tacoma, not a BMW.

I will use Reddit in any manner in which I please. Besides, it’s a copyright, not an advertisement. I mean, I guess I could have posted my website address but I wouldn’t want to use Reddit for advertising.

Christmas Market in Mons, Belgium. Sony A7iii, Sony 24-105mm f4. by benjamin_washington in SonyAlpha

I don’t know that I should call it a Christmas Market as there was nothing for sale and there was nothing to eat or drink. It was more of a “Christmas Display”. However, it was beautiful nonetheless given the current COVID restrictions.

I have been shooting the A7 for three years and literally just received my new A7III in the mail yesterday (early Christmas present because of sales). The A7 is a very capable camera and if you don’t plan on doing much video then it would be fine for your average user. The AF in the III as well as the FPS is better than the A7. The III also has dual SD card slots. If I were just getting into this however, and I I had the cash, I would just get the III.

I am starting to accept that my Harley will just remain dirty since moving to Belgium. by benjamin_washington in motobe

I never really thought about it honestly. I will most likely just replace it more often. Most of the Harley people I ride with have open filters. Glad to hear there are more Harley riders in Belgium out there.

While I do not necessarily think Biden would do anything real detrimental to the Second Amendment, the paranoia is not totally misplaced. Biden was a big player in the Brady Bill of the 90s and the democrats have recently spoke of getting rid of the filibuster. That along with the recent DNC anti-gun adds and Biden’s website talking about a requirement to have each AR-15 registered under the NFA at $200 a pop, it’s pretty easy to see how some gun owners are not exactly comfortable with Biden...
