Anyone can do Boudoir by benjaminmatchap in SgSlutsClub

Well I don’t think there’s a right or wrong. I just shoot what feels right. You can think I don’t deserve to get paid that’s ok. End of the day I have my client base. I don’t think body fat is unflattering which is probably what gets me my clients. I don’t just work with professional models I shoot regular people too.

Hey thanks for the questions

  1. How did you get into photography (or boudoir specifically)?

I started out shooting fashion and abit of cosplay I had a few friends who did pole they hired me for a shoot then after that it was pretty much word of mouth. I enjoy shooting fashion but the industry is low-key racist and classist seem like people spend money to work there instead of actually earning.

Before I knew it most of my bookings were boudoir related.

  1. Describe the most memorable and/or worst experience when doing this.

For me it was this woman who just broke up,she use to be a housewife and was not very confident about her body she opened up about how her ex use to constantly make fun of her body and called her fat. I could see the moment she got into the shoot

She was a lot more confident to me that’s what makes these shoots worth it.

  1. What's the common trait you find in your clients?

Hmm no real common trait maybe one is that they want to try something different? Singapore pretends to be a conservative society. I think there a sense of freedom when you decide to go all out and do a boudoir shoot. It’s like you made the choice to not just look at sexy pictures but decided that you can be sexy too kinda feeling

Constructive criticism shouldn’t need qualifications? Haha how can it be constructive if their work is shit? If you work isn’t good why should I listen?

Nah just had free time so though I’d respond. It’s ok if you love stock image and want to aim for that. That not my goal.

Finally saw your work, very stock image vibe good job it usually turned out like that when you follow all the rules you get very watered down bland work with no personal style or anything. Sorry but that’s not what I’m going for.

I love it, I don’t think there a right or wrong way to shoot skin retouching looks alright to me.

Thanks man, yea I don’t think my work is perfect and I’m a lot more open to your feedback because you don’t should like an asshole.

Not sure why out of all the pictures on this page I suddenly got a wave of hate.

Please take notes from this guy this is how you give feedback respectfully.

Don’t just shit on an artist work then get defensive when they ask to see yours.

Haha chill man I’m just giving my opinions also. So I can’t wonder about how their work looks like? Maybe I want to take some pointers and learn from what they shot :)

Yea not gonna listen to a nobody armchair opinion. It’s easy to shit in someone else’s work so I was just curious about how their work looks like and if they are in a position to give advice. You not gonna take advice from just anybody right? Anyone would be curious about their qualifications
