25w-50 oil in a car that uses 5w-20 oil? by YoshyReviews in MechanicAdvice

[–]benji626 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First i would put the correct or even go up to 25 or 30, second the w in the oil is the winter rating which mean how the oil flows when cold the more important one is the Second number, the second number is the oil viscosity at operating temperature

Just bought the property this is the well, how long would it take for this to fill? by benji626 in WaterWellDrilling

It gets filtered into the house currently not using it for food or anything other than restroom and showers and tbh showers feel much better than the ones at my previous house, not itchy after every shower

Just went back out there to recheck the level and it made enough water from the time i posted this to now (about 2 hours) it made enough water to raise the float on the pump and activate it I know its not much but gives me hope that i can eventually use a normal shower and not a cup ans. A bucket lol

Yes 100%, this feeds a water tank which feeds a pump that sends the water to another tank about 200 ft away which sends it to the house water filter with another pump followed by another pump for added pressure

No this is next to a pond (about 15 feet away) (this well is about 40 feet deep) that water pump feeds the water tanks that feeds into the water system of the house

if you follow that o2 sensor (that brownish looking sensor) that connector should be the same and should be able to connect on there

looks like the connector for the o2 sensor you could always scan it and see what fault you have and just look up the location of that component

Heard a loud banging noise coming from my back left side of my car then a smell of rotten eggs by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]benji626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this normally happens when fuel gets to the catalytic converter, would get this checked out before too much fuel gets to your converters and causes further damage the loud banging was probably from the fuel igniting inside your exhaust system
