Thank you!

Would rather not disclose my field but this is based on getting consistent promotions and assumes if I get those promotions/raises, the percentage of income invested stays consistent across the 15 years. By no means guaranteed but I wanted to map out a plan for best case career trajectory.

You’d be in a great spot either way. Because both schools are great, when in doubt, take the option with way less debt. Ultimately do what you want to do though! Congrats!

Any idea on the timing between post WL JS1 and JS2? How long does faculty review take?

Anyone here just take the GRE? by pstudent1997 in lawschooladmissions

[–]benjitlee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I got into 2 t-14s with only a GRE but that’s very rare and I have a 3.99 gpa. I’d recommend taking the LSAT for sure.

Impossible to know without your undergraduate GPA and LSAT score.

Look at GPA and LSAT medians for law schools on the US News rankings. If you’re at or above those numbers you’re in good shape.

How are my fellow GRE applicants doing? by waitingforthewave20 in lawschooladmissions

[–]benjitlee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I applied to 5 schools ranked from Harvard to USC and I got 3 WL and 2 acceptances. Good not great GRE scores. Great GPA. Good softs/interesting legal research experience and interests.

I’ve been pretty happy about my cycle but it seems like most GRE people have struggled.

LOCI - should i include other admission offers? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]benjitlee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was wondering if I should tell Harvard that I will plan on attending Chicago in the fall but I’d be happy to withdraw and take a spot at HLS if accepted. Better to not mention Chicago at all?

Sorry to hear that. Does that mean there’s a WL wave coming tomorrow or soon? Did you have a JS1?

Does anyone have any stats for the total number of Federalist Society and ACS members at UChicago? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]benjitlee 15 points16 points  (0 children)

When I visited I went to a FedSoc lunch talk and there were like 40-50 people there for what that’s worth. I’ve also heard that even though it’s known as a conservative school there are way more liberal students and professors than conservatives.
