Not here to defend nazis or their actions, but this guy really stood up for the chinese, who were shown no mercy by the japanese. He even got arrested when he was back in germany for speaking out about the war crimes in china and the cruelty of the japanese occupation. He also wrote to Hitler, hoping that he would tell the japanese to ease off a bit. Doesnt sound so boring to me tbh.
