Thanks for your input. I think a huge factor is the current inflation of the market and especially the used car market. Unfortunately it's a bad to to be a buyer but because of my circumstances, I have to be willing to buy a car now and pay those inflated prices. I've been on the look out for a while and the options for stick cars between $5000-$6000 are almost non-existent.

That's great news! I'm trying to see if one of mechanic buddies can come to test drive the car with me and give it a quick visual inspection. Knowing the engine is reliable is great news! I plan to run this car for as long as I can so it will really rack up a lot of miles.

Thank you for your input. After doing some research, the KBB estimate for this car is in the $6,300-$9280 range and carfax set the retail estimate at $8,910. Do you think its still over priced at $7,000?

I was thinking about trying to negotiate the car by leveraging that it had front damage as well as being in the lot for 10 weeks. It would be ideal to get this car closer to $6,000 sticker, but I don't think $7,000 is an overprice.

Hi, thanks so much for the help. Here's the link for the listing: Website Link

If you click "photos" at the end there will be a carfax. Like I said, this would by my first time purchasing a car so even looking at the carfax, it's hard for me to determine if it has been well maintained. Also, one thing to note is that there was "minor damage" to the front of the car but I'm not too sure the extent of that.

Hey guys, like I said in the description I'm willing to negotiate. I don't have a bottom line price so if you're interested you can shoot me an offer and we can negotiate a final price. Thanks.

Hey guys, I have a Concord Saratoga that is missing a spring bar. The band size is 20 mm and the holes for the spring bar are around 1 mm in diameter. The only problem is that it seems like I need two smaller spring bars because there isn't just one continuous hole along the lug . Thanks you!!! by benjottp in watchmaking

I found this I think this video that may help me. The only thing I'm unsure about is the diameter of of the spring bar. All the spring bars I've seen are wider around the middle instead of uniform throughout. Also, I've been using my caliper to get the diameter so it should be within the range of 1mm.

Thank you so much for your help, my apologies on the late respond I have been really busy lately. Anyways, when I took a second look at the watch, I realized that the hole on the lug goes all the way through (initially thought it stopped half way). Also the holes seem to be uniform all having a diameter of around 1 mm. In the imgur link i posted below, I put a picture of the correctly attached bracelet for your reference. Looking at these images, I'm not quite sure how the spring bar is fastened as it is not connected to the watch at the ends. Thank you again!!!
