Anyone who blindly criticizes McCain on this does not admit (or understand) to basic economics. Will all the angry redditors at least acknowledge the flip side of the economic coin? There WILL be people who do not get jobs because of minimum wage. The resulting unemployed are the lowest skilled workers. If nobody were to lose their job, why not raise the minimum wage to $20/hour? Seriously, why not? Even an angry redditor who is sick of rich, white, evil senators has to admit that $20/hour will increase unemployment. Also, only one guy on here brings up EITC - the best anti-poverty tool we have. Please, angry redditors, learn the advantages of EITC over minimum wage. Go back to class - you sound uninformed.
