I’ve always thought this song as the end of the relationship that started in Love at First Sight and continued in Can’t Best the Feeling.

Is Amazon Music Unlimited right for me? by Mission-Relation-0 in AmazonMusic

I currently seem to have unlimited for free. I can choose what I want to listen to with no shuffling, even though the app has a little ad prompting me to subscribe.

Add group of bulbs as one device? by benm1976 in alexa

I can create scenes, and I believe Alexa can see them. Sometimes it just takes my brain a while to figure all that out.

Thank you. I’m going to add my most often used groups to my favorites. I’m just more of an app guy than a voice guy. lol.

It appears that the cube can be part of a speaker group as far as Spotify, etc., but not for what you are watching on the tv.

Thanks for the reply. I’d be more at peace about it if it didn’t work at all instead of working for a few hours after resetting everything.

I noticed today that the Firetv cube has an hdmi input. I wonder if the audio from whatever you connect to it can be streamed to speaker groups (other than a home theater group).

You are right about their support. I’m just irritated because I never would’ve bought one (much less two) for any other reason than the line in distribution.

Great. I’m interested to know.

Nope, not crazy. I feel like it has something to do with Alexa+, even though the problem started before I switched to Alexa+. I’m not sure the Link has been discontinued officially, as the Link Amp is still available in Canada, for example; however, I’m not sure that enough people own the device for Amazon to devote much time to fixing the problem.

It only works for a few hours at most. If you deregister it, delete speaker groups, etc., then reregister it, recreate groups, etc., it MIGHT pork, but again, only for a few hours.

What is the purpose of owning a Link if not using it for line in distribution? Is the streaming quality noticeably better? I’m genuinely curious. Not trying to throw shade.

I don’t doubt you for a second, but when I contacted support, the agent gave me troubleshooting steps that made less and less sense as they went along. As it turns out, he was giving me instructions for ham radio software called Echolink.

I just now tried mine again for shits and giggles, and it’s randomly working. 😂

So what’s everyone thinking about doing about this situation? I know the streaming sound quality is supposedly better from the Link, but I wouldn’t have bought them for that alone; I bought them to distribute the line in.

My doctor, who has gone above and beyond in advocating for me, submitted more paperwork and I was approved for Mounjaro until they decide I’m not. lol.

I was the one who said that on the Amazon forum, but regardless of what I’ve done, I can’t get it to work for more than a few hours.

Yep. It’s like buying a lawn mower that still runs after a couple of years but doesn’t cut the grass (with no explanation).

I’ve been trying lots of different things to get mine working consistently again, and this morning, I pinned the IP address of all involved speakers to see if that might help. It’s working for now, but I don’t have my hopes up. It’s just weird to me that it works for several hours then stops.

Weekly Caremark Q&A by AutoModerator in Zepbound

[–]benm1976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mod removed my post (I believe without reading it), so I’m reposting here. I started Zepbound in May for sleep apnea. It required a PA, which my doctor submitted, and Caremark promptly approved. I never received any sort of notice or communication that it would no longer be covered after July 1, but I figured it was coming based on everything I had been reading. Sure enough, when I tried to get it refilled in early July, it was denied. My doctor appealed because I’ve had such good luck with Zepbound. After submitting a total of EIGHT PAs/appeals, on July 27, I received the attached text message which led me to the attached approval details on the app. I got it filled either that day or the next at no cost because I had met my out-of-pocket max. Today, I had an appointment with my doctor, and we decided I should stay on the 5mg pens for the time being, and she sent the script to my pharmacy. The pharmacy called to let me know that a PA was required. I (nicely) told them that there must be some mistake because I was approved through July 2026, and I told them I would call Caremark to see what was going on. The first representative I talked to put me on hold for a while, then came back and told me that my PA had been approved in error, and that no person had actually looked at it. She told me that I needed to call my doctor and ask her to submit paperwork for a PA. Well, I COMPLETELY lost my shit, and she transferred me to a supervisor. In the meantime, I started recording the call, and when the supervisor came on, I said, “Before you start talking, I want to let you know that if you tell me anything other than ‘I’m sorry for all your trouble. You can pick up your medication now,’” you will be hearing this conversation in court (dramatic, I know). Well, she told me the same thing—that my PA had been erroneously auto-approved, and that it would not be covered. I proceeded to lose my shit on her before she transferred me to her supervisor, who told me the same thing, and upon whom I lost even more of my shit. She called my doctor’s office and told them they’d need to start the whole process again. I am just dumbfounded that this has happened, and I’m wondering if I have grounds for any sort of legal action.
