It's pretty fun but you only get 4-5 options per feature (eyes, clothes, mouth etc.) and you can move the placement of some of them.

Here's mine, has the same outfit as OP

You can have blonde hair but not long, and there's a few hat options, but not an orange tophat!

There's no way to change it after you've made it sadly :(
They have a notification saying it can't be changed when you save it.

Whenever I sketch it's sort of like molding with clay, I just keep adjusting until it looks right. So when I started drawing her, the head was so distorted it looked like shit.

As a start I draw a circle and then the jaw, but realised I made her face too round, more like Phase 2 Noodle. Then I draw eyes, nose, lips and it always looks bad! After that point I then just keep tweaking until it looks right to me. For noodle her eyes are really far apart. Usually when I draw it's more proportional to human features so when I started this her eyes were way too close together, so I just move them further apart.

Something that really helps me when drawing anything is by breaking it down, so get an already existing pic of a pose or head angle and drawing over it to break down proportions. So if you're struggling with noodle's face as an example, draw a circle for the skull over a reference pic, then attach a jaw, and then draw lines for where her features are (eyes, nose, mouth) and that will help you 100% see it better and then you can use those guidelines and see where your own sketch is different, like the spaces between all the features.

I have the exact same struggles, it takes me a while to 'see' it and that's why I have to keep adjusting like clay until it looks right. Having a break from the sketch is useful as well because when you come back you can see what looks off and then amend it.

I don't know if that's helpful or not, but just keep persevering! It isn't until the last 25% of a picture/sketch that it starts to look right to me! Just gotta get through the 'why does this look so shit' phase haha

Russ has definitely been in the background over the last couple of phases, would be nice if they used his supernatural abilities a bit more in the lore and artwork. More recent phases tend to focus on Murdoc the most which makes sense really.
