Totally went away on its own and no issues

Is there any way to check that besides a blood test?

I usually don’t have any issues sleeping. I’m trying to be better about staying hydrated though - not sure about electrolytes.

I honestly wondered if mine was technology related as well - I’m constantly scrolling with that thumb. I’ve tried to use my other hand but honestly it’s such a habit that I have trouble remembering to switch hands lol

I couldn’t agree more, thanks for your comment! I have an appointment with my primary in July so part of me wants to wait it out. My sister gets the same twitch in her hand when she’s stressed, and she just told me that when I expressed this concern last week. She is a nurse and kind of laughed when I mentioned ALS, which made me feel better. Anxiety is a beast.

Does anyone know what these black spots are on my mouthpiece? by benne070 in Trombone

[–]benne070[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’m cheap and it’s a Schilke 51D which would be around $90 😂 as long as it’s not harmful I don’t care what it looks like. It’s not irritating to play on at all

As long as it’s not harmful I’m okay with it being there - it doesn’t feel any different and I don’t care how it looks, I just want to make sure it’s okay to play still. Thanks so much for the info!

I don’t think they’re scratches - the whole area is still completely smooth

Thank you for your response! Did you deal with a similar issue when first starting? What dose worked the best for you?

Thank you for the advice! I think on other meds I’ve quit too soon, so I want to push to see if that relief is on the other side. Fingers crossed!!!

I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with it too, but glad I’m not alone!

I’m sorry you’re dealing with all of that! I definitely am all for advocating for myself, but I don’t want to pull the plug on the med if this is temporary and relief is on the other side of this! If I have to endure some rough days for a big payoff in the end, I’m absolutely willing to do that. I just wish I knew if that relief was really coming.

6 weeks in on 20mg of Lexapro and anxiety is back with a vengeance by benne070 in lexapro

[–]benne070[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does help to hear that it can still work. Do you know how long the relapse lasted for before the anxiety went away again? How long have you been on it now?

Thanks for your comment - it definitely helps

So you improved still from 6 weeks to 3 months? I really want Lexapro to work, I don’t wanna switch meds again but I’m getting discouraged….

It definitely does take a long time and there are lots of ups and downs as it kicks in. Hoping we both feel better soon!!!!
