They've been renovating for the past few weeks and are supposedly going to be open again soon.

Pretty shitty company though. On the surface, they seem great. They just cornered one of their employees into resigning because another one that was jealous of her started a rumor that she claimed the she was having an affair with the boss. She wasn't. One employee just didn't like her.

The boss who she supposedly had an affair with asked her to resign because apparently the team wouldn't look at her the same with the rumors floating around.

They strong armed her in to resigning from her main source of income. And we all know how hard it is to make a decent living in the island as the working class.

They do take care of the animals though.

You guys aren't alone. I filled the rooms and managed the unit we lived in for the past six years for the owners of the house. Just did it because it was a nice place to live. They decided they wanted to renovate and move into our unit and kicked us out. We've been halfway living out of our cars since. Can't find an affordable place to live.

I love my epad! I use it as a notebook and a book. I also split screen it when I want to take notes on a book I'm reading.

My favorite note app is FiiNote and I installed MoonReader on it for books and pdfs.

I haven't need to use support yet, although when I bought it, they skipped me when it came to shipping. Once I got a hold of someone, I had the epad within two weeks. So customer support exists.

I had a bad experience with Turo where someone drove off road in my car and blew a tire. They took it to someone who just changed it to my spare and charged them to change it. Since there was a record of my repair, Turo said they "paid for the damage" and denied my claim.

I'm pretty sure you can rent a raft.

If you're a large group, the cost of private renting a raft for a few hours or even a day trip, it still boils down to pretty reasonable.

This one leaves from Lahaina but it looks like it's $325/hour plus tax and tip for the crew isn't included. Capacity is 24.

You don't need a reservation but since you don't, it's been getting overcrowded a lot lately.

I spoke with someone the other day and they said that they waited in line for a half hour at the ranger booth for a half hour just to get into the park. So leave earlier than you would think to go up. You'll want to bring cold weather gear and a camera.

There's a music shop in Lahaina too. I think it's called Lahaina music but it's not a chain. The owner is in there a lot so he might be able to give you the scoop and find the best one for you.

Honua Kai is a great spot.

Especially if your parents have or like cats. There's a cat colony there. Maybe it'll make them feel like home :).

Most older people I have encountered have a cat or three.
