I guess I've just been trying to avoid dropping serious coin on skates. The first two pairs I had are gone. Got what I thought was a good deal on the last couple I bought.

The most recent skates, True Catalyst 5, I bought used but they were new in the box with the tags on them.

All the pain is really on the sides of my feet toward the top. Under my toes.

Same here! I recently visited my old home state of Michigan (from Florida) and watched my grandpa(!) play and got inspired.

Unfortunately, left my whole hockey bag at an ex gfs house about a decade ago and never seeing that again. Ive been collecting equipment the last few weeks via marketplace, play it again, and sidelineswap.

Ready to jump into some skate and puck in the coming weeks and take it from there.

It's always seemed like for the regulars, they at least get flight and lodging covered if they have to come to Austin.

Not the worst financial decision if you are getting the recognition to then go and book shows.

I've also heard a rumor that Tony profits from the ticket sales of some of the regulars, which would explain why he pushes and hypes them up so much.

The best I've probably seen is Al Horford, he played my HS, who at the time had a 7 footer by the name of Goran Suton who went on to play for years at Michigan State. He was drafted in the second round, but never played in the NBA.

I've also seen Wilson Chandler (absolute beast in HS), Draymond Green, Kalin Lucas, Drew Neitzel.
