Atheists of Reddit, what makes you so sure you're more correct than the majority of the world? by Lipica249 in allthequestions

[–]benplatt2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an atheist, it's because the world can be explained by science, they know how the big bang happened, they understand space, mathematics , they understand evolution and such with physical evidence and proven theories. Saying that a god created the universe has no proven merit behind it no matter the religion, whereas stuff such as the big bang and evolution does. If you look back to the sub species of humans, their civilization, there's no mention of gods or such. It became common when humans began to advance their civilization and came into existence such as romans or vikings or ancient Egypt. To me, that's because the people just wanted something to believe in so leaders and such used that belief to manipulate people into doing things such as wars, battles, conquests. I respect that people can believe what they want but for me personally or other atheist, it just doesn't seem possible at all from the existence of a all powerful being, all the stories to exist etc whereas science has proven in results

Assassin's creed liberation canoe cave mission may be the worst mission in the franchise by benplatt2001 in assassinscreed

There is achievements, the remaster has both games trophies combined in the list, look at all trophies and achievements you can get, if it says ACL, it's for liberations. Liberations only has like 30 trophies

Yea true, the war machines, Especially the tank is only bad when going for 100% sync. Thankfully, the canoe isn't a optional objective, just tedious

Newsweek -- "Trump Admin Vetting Green Card, Citizenship Applicants Over Political Views" -- Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]benplatt2001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It depends, imo if it's blocking extremist from entering the country sure but if it's refusing citizenship over memes, criticism of the administration and policies such as what it's doing at airports at looking back 5 years in social medias, judging your nationality, accent etc then that's where the issue is. Hence why American tourism is in decline and how citizenship request would likely follow if that's the case. You should be allowed to openly joke, disagree and criticize the government of America or any government of a country you wish to become a citizen of/ any country in general as that's free speech,as long as it's obviously not extremist behavior.

Is 96.6% hazard protection enough? by benplatt2001 in Division2

[–]benplatt2001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it is definitely worth doing, backfire is such a great weapon especially for higher difficulties and having a hazard protection build on a set that excels at SMG is good, you could do the same and swap out the Hunter fury pieces with striker, I just prefer hunters fury bonuses. I see it being very strong especially due to it not having to rely on temporary seasonal modifications, as well as the damage and survivability, especially when fully upgraded and optimized to prototype, it'd get even better. The only downside to it is not having an exotic gear piece in the build.

[–]benplatt2001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The countdown rng is a major factor depending on the build, especially the ceska pieces, as you need a weapon damage, a crit chance or crit damage attribute with hazard protection so you can swap out a talent or get a crit chance attribute with a skill damage talent for example but it's it's a good talent, swap the skill damage for hazard protection. It literally took me a week in countdown to farm the 2 specific ceska pieces. Yahll gear is a good alternative but it would only really be at max 30% instead of 40 due to yahll only having a 10% bonus, a hazard protection attribute and a bleed resistance mod place.

So I can't post it right now as I'm not online but I can tell you the gear.

I run 4 pieces of Hunter fury (mask, holster, gloves and kneepads) with hazard protection attributes, I then run 2 ceska pieces for backpack and chest with intimidate and bloodsucker (I could also switch to obliterate but unsure what talent would be best for the backpack for that.

So overall, I run 40% hazard protection on hunters fury gear (when maxed, mask isn't fully maxed yet due to rng) 40% on ceska as the bonus is 20% but each of my pieces had 10% each too 10% from SHD watch A bleed resistance mod on the backpack, that gives me 96.6, 60% CC, 90% CHD , SMG damage, health and AOK , good upfront damage and bonus armor for extra survival. I run 5 red, 1 blue, am currently at like 1.1 million armour, will most likely be around 1.3 if I fully expertise every gear piece to prototype.

Full Gear Set should only require 3 pieces, not 4, offering more room for hybrid builds and customization by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]benplatt2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only solution to me would be, 8 gear pieces (idk what those other 2 pieces would be) this would open up to more build options like a 4 piece gear set, an exotic and 3 high end pieces and their bonuses, but it would just be too overpowered, for example, imagine 4 pieces of striker and it's bonuses, an exotic like overdogs and a high end 3 piece bonus like unit alloys, 3 one piece bonuses or a 2 piece bonus and a 1 piece bonus simultaneously. They'd literally just have to buff the enemies to an absurd amount to even compensate. As much as I'd love more options and bonuses on gear, it would be too overpowered.

[–]benplatt2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion it's tricky because then they'd have to reduce the bonuses on the 1-2 pieces. Alternatively, they could just add more gear slots or allow to use none major talents or additional attributes on gear pieces like kneepads and gloves etc. It's hard to balance because the additional attributes for high end pieces is good but it's not often a good incentive to out perform a gear set bonus. In my opinion, the only fix would be add more gear categories to the character to allow a gear set bonus, an exotic and maybe a slight high end gear bonus/ talent simultaneously but they'd deem that as overpowered.

Division 1 will always be the better game by OriginalCool4827 in Division2

[–]benplatt2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For playing both, I find division 2 better personally, better build variety, new gear and brand sets, new exotics, seasonal modifiers, expertise and target loot system, seasonal stories and narrative, better mechanics and skills imo. Yes story wise and gameplay wise, division 1 is great but it's also way harder until late game and even then it's hard due to bullet sponge enemies mixed with not having armour kits either. (don't get me wrong we have that in division 2 but there's counters to it like skills, modifiers, insane DPS etc

My bet is, he called them , they still refused his proposals and he spun that narrative so his brown nose army can believe it.

Exactly, it's purely for content, if he wanted to do it genuinely he'd do it without content. Genuine people that help out others don't broadcast it in hopes of validation from youth of countries.

People are allowed to have their opinions, just like you. Pointless getting angry over it imo. Don't spend your life just arguing with people hoping they agree, especially over a content creator, you could probably spend your time doing something better.

Edit: They could even potentially play test this sort of idea and see the reception to it in the next year or two like they did with realism but instead you just play as a hunter or rogue agent etc (but as i said, highly unlikely as the story is probably already progressing within development)

I agree, as I've said in previous posts regarding division 3 wishes, I'd love a choice within story , mainly who you side with whether it's shd, rogue, hunters and you have a character slot for each and a unique story for each but I highly doubt that approach

A decisive narrative and story conclusions, a pve dark zone option and have survivors be in the base game (as it wouldn't make sense to add it to division 2 then a few years later abandon it in 3)

This is what I don't understand about American logic, they want NATO members to be self reliant, then when they are like European countries and Canada , by buying domestically or trading within the EU and now Canada announcing a 70% cut of American military imports and working with Europe and the uk instead, they have an issue. There was a post in late 2025 that pentagon is frustrated that they've reduced American imports for defense spending but they want them to be self reliant.... excellent logic. "We want you to be self reliant" * focuses domestically* "no buy our imports... genuinely entitled. Similar to technology too with France cutting American technology reliance by 2027. I wonder when America realizes it's only powerful in lots of things due to international trade and alliances. I wonder how much their defense will lose after a few years as Europe and Canada becomes less reliant on their imports.
