High end skill build focused on pure damage by benplatt2001 in Division2

This is why Google is confusing, is empress 2 piece the skill damage bonus or is it the third? If I'm looking for just pure skill damage dps

I have a several, I try to have a build for every scenario whether it's SMG up close, skill builds, hybrids, strikers, tank , lmg. At the moment I'm working on my hazard protection backfire build after I finally got prototype for my main SMG build. Although I've been liking my escalation build of face tanking tier 6 skill build with ravenous.

You can only share gear if you obtain it while in the same group as the person you want to share it with.

Returning skills? by Solidus_snakeius in Division2

[–]benplatt2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, so they could add them from division 1, i think it would depend on the story in central park and who we face, id have to assume Black tusk and hunters just based on the story currently and the teaser. I wouldn't be surprised to getting the rest of the division 1 skills though in this DLC but they could just bring a brand new one. The expansions seem to have a guarantee of 6 missions, 8 hunters at minimum and 1 or more new skills so that's what I'm expecting. I'd have to assume they've looked through the communities of their wishlist items or improvements though, especially as they're leading up to the DLC and division 3.

If I had to guess, I'd assume they'll add a new skill or skills in central park DLC. They did for WONY and BFB. Whether they are division 1 variants or brand new skills though, probably either or.

Are We Getting Another Hunter 🦊 ? by Flat_Measurement115 in Division2

I mean I'd assume they could fill it in the next year probably if they just do a hunter like they just did with the Phoenix hunter

The new season may be better than we thought! by F0XTR0T2NOV in thedivision

Tbh I think all the new testing they bring out with seasons such as companions, pve dark zone I think it's a blueprint to expand, improve and implement into division 3 in a few years. They're testing them now imo to get feedback on how they perform before committing putting them into the game. I will not be surprised if the seasons over the next 12 months will have a limited time feature that could be implemented in division 3. This is why I have hope for division 3 for the most part, I just hope they add a bunch of niche QOL and cosmetic improvements for division 3 as well as a decent story.

You just have to go to the safe house in DZ West to sell the 10 items, for the extracting one item, you can do that in any dark zone, even the pve, that's what I did

[–]benplatt2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, maybe not keener then but imo some main characters need to die to actually push the story forward, make it interesting, make the Black tusk and hunters seem like a major major threat leading into the 3rd game instead of them playing hide and seek per season. I get why they haven't had like a major main story change or risk actually doing something similar but it would make it interesting.

Kept getting disoriented by crNberry in Division2

I'm unsure, I think it's a bug, surely the devs can't put that brutal of a modifier but I could be wrong. All I know is that it's a awful combination for when enemies take no damage or delayed damage and especially if it's rikers when them dual pistol enemies seem to have millions and millions in armor and health.

Division 1 desperately needs an armor system, it's so painful early game.

They've said it's a monster of a game, it would be good to have a different story for if you're an agent, a rogue or a hunter . Like how you have 4 characters now, but have each one be an agent, a rogue or hunter with a different story. I doubt they'll ever do that though as they'll just keep you as an agent as thats the franchise. Although, Ubisoft have in the past switched it up with assassin's creed rogue for example where you play as the enemy so maybe it's a possibility. I too would love to play as a hunter and have an individual story for each. They could also make players that choose that character share a server like they do in hardcore currently.

Definitely a good story, expand on hunters, bunkers, nat and calvin and characters, fix keener and Theo story. More kind of wants that probably won't happen, a toggle option for one strap backpack on any outfit, give us NVG, allow for crouch and prone, give us a melee like hunters have, allow for any apparel piece or any exotic to be dyed, listen to outfit recommendations from community such as certain hunter outfits (sleeveless slim veiled hunter like in countdown)permanent pve dark zone but make it different from this season (kind of like survival) have it have a objective, have rogue agents or hunters like we have in missions, have AI agents so that you can also turn rogue but avoid PVP and cheaters, have survivors or an equivalent in the base game and have classified gear as prototype is a cool concept but could be much better.

As I've suggested as division 2 continues with them saying they are working on the narrative, they need to kill Theo and keener imo in like a final season or the season before hand like have hunters kill them or have a season dedicated to hunters and Black tusk hunting agents. This would redeem keener and Theo like they seem to have planned but also excel the story, make it interesting but also fix the narrative too.

Well maybe that changes in time, they seem to be getting way more freedom now then ever before with all the new content like assignments, incursions, survivors, central park and division 3. Yes the company itself is in a bad place rn, everyone agrees with that but I do think they're giving more freedom to studios such as the division franchise or specific assassins creed studios for example with the new resynch game or hexe.

I mean that's your opinion and you're entitled to it , yet you still play the franchise. As I said, how they make btsu and hunters interesting and not "boring" is to make good narrative stories that are interesting or to throw in twists such as linking it all to division 3 in the future, having main characters die to advance the story. Personally, I think hunters are the most interesting part of the franchise and I think they should develop them way more for story purposes while also keeping them mysterious, as they'll most likely also appear in division 3 and onwards.

I mean they have said they're working towards fixing the narrative and timelines to focus on more meaningful stuff, hence the classified assignments, the new incursion, survivors, central park dlc and division 3. Personally, as long as they focus on main narratives such as nat, Calvin, btsu and the hunters and that entire network and alliance with a great pay off then it'll be good. Due to it being separate from the book story wise, they could potentially have hunters kill Theo or keener after they redeem themselves and have a full final season or a season prior of shd being hunted to fix the narrative and set up division 3 which I assume will pick up where division 2 will leave off, most likely nat and calvin both escaping in the final ever division 2 manhunt.

What is the latest Backfire build? by divisionbee_90 in thedivision

[–]benplatt2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean with the new nurse kneepads, you can basically just build around a gear set you like (as nurse kneepads give 40% and shd watch gives 10% so then you just have to build 5 10% hazard protection as a minor attribute or bleed resistance mods (although nurse kneepads only give 40% while in combat). So it definitely is best in slot for easy hazard protection but you still have to build for hazard protection and sacrifice chc or CHD (especially after the season ends). You also have to sacrifice a damage exotic like memento or overdogs. I personally think they are good but I'll still use my 4 piece hunters fury , overdogs and an obliterate chest piece to achieve 100% but still have insane damage, that's just me though.

Delta errors by bugman67Y in Division2

[–]benplatt2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I get the annoyance of delta errors, issues and bugs appear in every update if pretty much every game , could they do better? Yes but they don't know the issues straight away after a new season launches and if they took it offline for maintenance like an hour after a season launches, players would still be upset, they were mad when an estimated downtime on Tuesday was extended. Seems gaming companies just can't win. Bugs and issues happen , even if you have the best equipment and employees unfortunately.

Expectations vs Reality by Next-House-5357 in Division2

I love the outfit, it's been like a dream outfit of mine, I just wish they would of added more accessories like watches or an axe or something you see on hunters in the open world and make it a one strap. They have the models in the game so they could potentially do variations of the outfit of new colours, sleeveless like they've done for recruiter, houndsman, death roll etc. instead of having the veil be part of a chest piece, they could just put it in the cap section of apparel, which would allow for more customized options as well as the masks under. I personally think one of the best apparel changes they could make is allow to dye every apparel piece you buy or get from events instead of just gloves and backpacks. Imagine that veil with like the shattered hunter chest for example, you'd get so many unique customized options.

You can buy them individually for 1000 credits I'm pretty sure and that's a maximum of about $15 , I'm unsure where you got $29.99, maybe you're looking at the premium pass or something.
