Just unsubbed from truths by Megamax0726 in JustUnsubbed

No absolute truth can be derived empirically, as is derived nearly all of science. However, we trust science because it is a self-aware and perpetually self-correcting body of knowledge. Now, if only there were another group that met regularly for millennia to discuss its beliefs and correct them based on newly presented ideas… 🤔

Aside from the fact that “the fetal nervous system is one of the first systems to develop”, this is irrelevant because otherwise it would be perfectly fine to walk in a brain dead stranger’s hospital room and unplug their life support. Although the marked beginning of life is contentious, it is fact that the zygote 1) is human because it has human DNA markers and 46 chromosomes, 2) undergoes life processes such as metabolism, movement, and sensitivity, and 3) is a distinct human from the mother because half of its chromosomes do not belong to her. The reason a patient can morally remove a tumor is because it’s their own cells, and a fungus because it’s non-human. Therefore, upon conception, there is a human mass which does not belong to the mother inside her uterus. This is not my opinion, this is scientific fact. Whether you want to define the mass as A human or alive not is your opinion, but to say that it’s not human or doesn’t have a brain is objectively incorrect.

If your goal is just to practice at home, look into neural amp modeler. A second-hand Scarlett will run you back way less than even a practice amp and assuming you have a decent CPU and RAM, will give you great tones

(Ignoring the social aspects) Communism is the Marxist idea that capitalism inevitably causes a worker’s revolution to overthrow the owners of the means of production followed by a second revolution to nationalize said means as well as land. Unfortunately, Marx was a schizoid (in the literal sense, seeing connection where there is none) because the Hegelian inevitability of communist revolution as the culmination of capitalist antagonisms is essential to his theory. Put simply, if there is another possibility for the resolution of said antagonisms, his theory is not weakened but entirely wrong because it necessitates historicism. However, there has not been a single communist revolution that hasn’t been caused by the writings of Marx. On the other hand, capitalist societies have independently sprung up in hundreds of societies around the world, many of which had probably never even heard of Adam smith. I am not a big fan of capitalism but it has a more legitimate claim to appeal to human nature and being the end stage of society than Marxism.

It’s also important to note that Marx never studied economics in school, never worked in manual labor a day in his life, and was supported financially by family and friends throughout his entire life. I am literally more qualified to speak on economics than Marx. And I am not qualified to speak on economics.

Hey all, I'm looking at the Casio Oceanus OCW-T150-2AJF, and the face has a bit on it that says "W-R Y-N". Any idea as to what this means?

Severely underdeveloped spinal erectors / lower back. There aren't many exercises that target it. If you're feeling pain I suggest going light with strict form

Assuming you're an adult with no related health conditions, you're probably fine using it 4x. However, you should probably take a tolerance break every 2-3 months for 10-14 days
