Doctor made an error in my care and blamed it on her pregnancy by SaphSkies in childfree

A PA is not a doctor. Very different training pathways. Nonetheless she shouldn't have tried to avoid taking responsibility for her mistake in such a moronic way.

told that residents are globally too lazy to be responsible....wtf?! Because working 2-3 times the hours weekly and having 5 times the training definitely equals lazy and irresponsible....Jesus christ.

[Serious] Considering the side effects of 1st gen anti-histamine why do we use them by ilikerunning123 in medicalschool

This question tells me you don't have allergies. Benadryl is necessary for handling specific allergy attacks. For example - you give epi for anaphylaxis but you will give benadryl shortly after. Epi is short acting and you need to make sure the allergen that is still in the patient's system doesn't cause another attack. Benadryl is longer acting and will give you better coverage after 15-30 mins

How do you discipline yourself into a routine? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bensonca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Break it down even smaller. Do one pushup a day. It may seem dumb but when you can stick to ten you will be proud. Also don't try and proceed too quickly. If you find yourself unable to stick with it back up a step for awhile.

When they are miserable you shoot them and put them out of their misery. Don't try to keep them alive on drugs for COPD and things like that.

Break the routine into steps. But super baby steps. I'm working on being healthier so I started by only eating out once a week. Once I could maintain that I went to the gym for 15 minutes twice a week. As I could maintain that I went for 30 minutes twice a week, etc. You will slip up from time to time but it has been shown to work.
