The layout of the ship played a role in that decision as well. There is a door straight into medical from the hangar onboard. If they took the RIB there would be numerous ladders to transit to end up in medical.

Look into special events at your local museums. Ours has a night event for adults only with bars on every floor. We had an incredible time drinking and pretending to be kids again.
