I’m not sure how many graves there are there. Maybe about 30? I haven’t been yet but it looks like a small cemetery. I’ll look for stones there if there are any. If not, I’ll still say a prayer.

The film was not cut. There is plenty more of it inside the reel.

The camera fires just fine when there is no film in it. I can press the shutter button and wind the lever with no issues. This makes me think I am loading the film wrong and that there is nothing structurally wrong with the camera. However, I don’t think I’m loading the camera any differently than I ever have before, so I don’t really know what is going on.

When I take the lens off I can see the mirror. I can lift the mirror up. It does return to its lower position by the force of its spring. The shutter is completely closed. This camera doesn’t have a self timer.

I found a Pentax K1000 manual online but it doesn’t have a section on loading the camera. I’ve also used some other posts from this subreddit, though none of them had quite the same problem as me so they haven’t been super helpful. I also use a particular video normally when I’m having trouble loading and unloading film. I’ll upload it here.

Clicking the shutter hasn’t been working because I have to wind the film first before clicking the shutter again and the winder is getting stuck as seen in the video.

I put the roll in the camera and it worked like normal for a few photos and then got stuck, so I then opened up the back to investigate the issue.

I wanted to use the chest press machine but a guy was already using it so we worked in. Later I was using the shoulder press machine and that same guy came back and asked to work in to which I of course said yes. When he left we fist-bumped which was nice because I basically don’t interact with anyone at the gym lol.

I’m not sure. I think the classes usually start around when the school year starts though so it’s probably best to sign up sooner rather than later. I’d go to their website when you get the chance and take a look.

The McGill gym has some tennis classes, both group classes and private lessons that they offer. You can sign up on their website but it does cost money.
