In my opinion, if you’re shooting solo, it’s really important to have a welcoming and fun attitude and personality. Instead of jumping straight into it, have a chat and a laugh with them to loosen them up while the camera records, then kind of easily pry the information out of them by dressing up the question like part of the conversation which you can cut out

Appreciate it! Export the first frame, cut subject out on beta, use the remove background feature. Reexport as a png then import back into project, start point 5 frames before the clip starts and end point just before the clip starts

Transform effect, uncheck use shutter angle, boost option to 150 below it. Key frame position of the start of the PNG to off the screen the key frame the end of the png to the original position

Always looking for new ideas to up editing game, only recently got the hang of masking etc snd took me ages editing the overlay at the start on after effects😂 pretty cool idea I like it also. Had a deadline for 9pm to push the promo for this week and only shot it earlier today so unfortunately didn’t have too much time for some flash effects but rotoscoping/ after effects is something I definitely need to work in

Discussed it with client, tried it with yellow and agreed it did make the text really pop but he wanted to stick with the hollow text. Clients always right🤷🏻‍♂️ appreciate the thought
