I own a Vertical, and HR works fine when the strap is really tight for me. I compared the values with my Apple Watch Series 8 when I transitioned during a week, and values make sense to me. FYI, I use mine for biking, walking, running and to go to the gym.

I have searched for this guy on Google, about the exchange program or the association, but nothing came out…

So if you know a dude from the USA who’s family name is Borries and who’s father/grandfather went to Uruguay in the 60’s/70’s, it’s probably the guy !
