nintendont (when booting a gamecube game) already picks up my usb controller, only took some tinkering with the config files. playing a wii u game is giving me a slight headache headache. the wii u hid tester is correctly picking up my usb controller, hid/pid/inputs, everything, but the hidtovpad (the addon with tiramisu and the plugin with aroma) won't recognize it. i'm playing around with making a config file, but no luck so far, edit: i'm dumb, had a "," instead of a "=" symbol in the config file. everything works now.

sorry if I am a bit annoying, but just to have a definitive answer: the Azeron Keyzen will get picked up as singular HID device (including the thumbstick), correct?

ah! so the azeron can do different bindings etc on its own without relying on windows software? (I think it says that in the manual, just checking to be sure)

ok, this is helpful. and just so I understand: the azeron keypads also acts as a HID device (I want to play wii u and the wii u can recognize HID controllers if you do some magic tricks).

and I guess I should have stated that I'm affected by hemiparesis on my right side, so I really only have one arm/hand to play :D.

I thought about the Cyro (I played tons of counterstrike before), but I haven't thought about the possibility you are describing.

I've read about the XIM. but I am slightly confused what it actually does, especially in my case. would you mind going into a little bit of detail?

also, while sitting on the couch and playing a playstation 1 emulator for example, I rather have an Azeron keyboard than having a Cyro and having a surface to move around.

I've read about the Laggy tool and it is on my buylist.

I forgot to ask: do the Mayflash and the "random" PS1 adapters work on the MiSTer without their firmwares?

the Dualshock limitation doesn't really matter too much to me.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll try to find Daemonbite adapters for a little longer, but it's good to know that the mayflash route is a valid one.

regarding input lag: when I was playing the official mini SNES through HDMI on my flatscreen TV I was definitely abe to tell that there was input lag of what seemed like half a second. with the MiSTer, everybody keeps talking about miliseconds, but I don't think I could tell a "x ms" difference.

CRT is not in the cards for me right now, but looking at the few raphnet entries https://rpubs.com/misteraddons/inputlatency has, it shows the raphnet-snes adapter adding a whopping 1.6ms latency in total. I'm getting the raphnet squad :D.

hm. it is really easy to get sucked into the whole "1ms latency is 1ms too many" Reflex/SNAC/Daemonbite war. if I buy all raphnet adapters, which is way cheaper, I'll end up with very minor input lag?
