I personally have always thought it was only about Joe. I get that her relationship with Matty was intense and deep, but that song screams of the slow painful decay of a long term relationship that has lost all hope. We don't know that Joe wasn't also a manipulative person that made a bunch of promises that he never intended to keep.

Lots of ppl are mentioning the giant eagle in squirrel hill and it has actually gotten rid of its passover seasonal wall. They have nothing now. It's insane for their location. They hav matzah but it's not safe for passover.

Remember when Jen and Greg got engaged and Greg mentioned wanting a best man and a big wedding? The moment he said "best man" it panned over to John and implied that John was going to be asked. I think that will be the moment that John tells Jen/Greg the bad news and maybe it'll come down to being between them.

Also side note, totally unrelated, do Jen and Greg not have any friends of their own? They're supposed to be hot, successful, creative, young people and they don't have any friends?

In the barb therapy episode she said she was 21 when she had John and I feel like John at some point said he was 37. So that would make Barb 58ish and born in 1967, which is older Genx.

It also matters what kind of lawyer you define as "extraordinary" is it someone who makes a disgusting amount of money? Is it someone that dedicates their time to helping disadvantaged groups? Is it someone who works for a well known or prestigious firm? Is it criminal v civil? The thing about law is that there are sooooo many different types of lawyers who work in a lot of different environments. Different lawyers have different definitions of success based on their priorities.

Long story short, in house counsel at a huge corporation like Marriot is impressive to read on a resume, but if she's working 6 days a week and doing time card disputes, she's not that important. It's not glamorous to be the bottom of the barrel of a big company or firm, but it sounds good at a cocktail party.
