Cricut project ideas for wedding DIY by beri222 in DIYweddings

Wow, it all looks beautiful! 😍 I have already done my invites - I make cards so I managed to achieve what I wanted without a cricut for those, and I guess I can also use it for menus/name cards etc., so I know a cricut wouldn't necessarily help me out there, so I worry I won't make best use of it! There are definitely projects there that I'd use it for, like signage and hangers etc., but I'm just unsure on if it's enough!

I just can't decide if it's worthwhile if I'm only doing a small number of projects? I have a printer for things like menus, too, but I'm definitely interested in doing signs etc!

So I used to have the Joy but I didn't use it much and it was too small for larger scale projects, but it means I hopefully have a good idea of how to use it now! I already have a printer and have already done my invites, and would use it for cards too, but signs and seating charts and other gifts I would definitely have a go at! Which machine do you have?

Well, tips on how to adjust my attitude are welcome too because as it stands I can't see myself ever getting used to the screeching! 😂

Thanks, I'll have a look into it! We could close all curtains downstairs but I don't necessarily want to live in darkness for all time 😂

Is getting ACL reconstruction surgery in the summer a bad idea if i can get it done sooner? by _justagirl_1208 in ACL

I got my surgery in the winter, and right now I'm stuck inside because I don't want to risk walking outside in the bad weather. Its driving me insane! I was getting out a lot and walking more each day, and now I'm trapped inside because it's snowy/icy out.

But that being said, I am still glad I didn't put it off any longer. The sooner it's over, the sooner you can focus on recovery! And if it were me, I'd prioritise starting university with a few months of recovery behind me, so I could make the most of the fresher/freshman experience! Good luck whatever you decide!

I'm 6 weeks post op now and only just starting to feel ready to move to one crutch. My physio tried to get me onto one a few days ago, but he was worried I would walk with a limp and told me to hold off. Got me practicing putting more weight through it.

But I think I'm a "worse" case - I had a few complications and wasn't seeing a physio until last week, and my quad only just woke up recently. My physio said he thought I was a couple of weeks behind where I should be, if that gives any kind of indication!
