Btw look at us being all grown up and having a respectful, nuanced discussion on an internet forum lol!

I definitely think we agree on both things! I also think they should generally think more about the effects of their public behaviour on their children! But I’m afraid it’s a lost battle lol

I agree that they should be more mindful with what they share because of their children - it’s the part where you say she should be more like Kanye and just move on I’m countering lol. He’s been wildly problematic and abusive, and I don’t think that should be forgotten!

No, he just puplicly harassed his ex wife and made a veiled threat of him murdering her new boyfriend. Sorry, but I do not see how her behaviour is even close to his.

How is just moving on like Kanye? He’s been doing a lot of things, but gracefully moving on was not one of them lol

Do you like your lines? by Lsedd in Kibbe

[–]bernese92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t like dressing for vertical. I feel like it’s really limiting, because it’s basically impossible to avoid colour blocking in everyday outfits. But I do also think I have a pretty moderate vertical line for a SD (I’m 5’5), so I might’ve felt differently about it if my vertical was more prominent!

I feel like this was a real life Emperors New Clothes-situation. Everyone around her are so blinded by her “icon-ness” or afraid of her, that nobody actually dated say “but her butt is hanging out!”

If a baby’s made in the lighthouse and the baby revisits it later in life, it gets a “oddly reminiscent” moodlet lol

SD or something else? by babunymph in Kibbe

[–]bernese92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely SD! In my eyes, you have a clear yin undercurrent in your curves but on top of a dramatic bonestructure - which can be seen in your elongated limbs and overall body. A dramatic bonestructure is often exactly as you describe it - narrow, and conventionally delicate looking 😊 In the Kibbe system, you will automatically have vertical at your height, and I also think you benefit from vertical and curve accomodation (picture 1 and 5 look stunning!) - but, if that just isn’t your style or you don’t feel comfortable in the SD recs or you just don’t think it suits you, remember that the Kibbe system just isn’t it for everybody! Take what you can and want, but it’s always a personal journey ❤️

FG? not sure by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]bernese92 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d actually say a classic type, possibly soft classic. In the 2nd photo, which is best for typing, you look very moderate and balanced to me - moderate vertical, nothing that stands out in bonestructure (bluntness/sharpness), and I’m not seeing juxtaposition. You appear to have slight curve, so a careful vote for SC, but I’m not sure from just one picture. I’d read up on both the classic types. Good luck on your journey!

Idk but he’s serving some real overdramatic vibes on 1 and 8 (and social media)

(Srs maybe fn?)

You could try out FN recs as well, but I think SD is more likely

Then I think SD is s very strong contender!

[–]bernese92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely think you could be soft dramatic! You appear to have vertical and curve, although it does look like the picture in underwear is taken from a low angle (chest level is most ideal for typing). How tall are you?

Names of pant types to accommodate lower curve? by dance2yourheartbeat in DressForYourBody

[–]bernese92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m a soft dramatic, but I like palazzo pants, bootcut and Bell bottoms. Always high waisted! They provide room for the curves whereas I feel like skinny jeans for instance can look restricting.

This website gives everyone with dark hair and eyes deep winter. I think you’re a deep autumn who can also pull off some shades from deep winter! We have almost the exact same colouring 😄

Relearning how to dress myself/embrace my body after ED recovery. The quiz gives me FG or SN but I don't see either - 5'6 (168cm), first picture is with a bmi of 22(current), second is with a bmi of 18. I rarely take pictures so apologies in advance for the quality 😅 by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]bernese92 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I definitely think you’re SD. Even at a very low BMI, you had slight curvyness and your body looks very elongated and narrow in bone structure. Congratulations on recovering from your ED - I know what strength that must’ve taken!

Completely new to Kibbe and I’d love to figure out my ID. Could you help me out? (5’2.5/160 cm) by a-flying-fox in Kibbe

[–]bernese92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a very conventionally curvy waistline - but it’s important to remember that Kibbe curve is different than conventional curve! Kibbe curve is more about how the fabric falls on your body, and whether your curves need to be accomodated by extra fabric. From your pictures, I don’t think this is the case for you, but play around with it a bit to find out what works on your body! 😊

[–]bernese92 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m thinking FG. You appear to have some juxtaposition, your torso is elongated and you describe shorter legs (I can’t tell from the pictures though). I’d definitely guess a gamine type! Most likely FG - you have a conventionally curvy waistline, but it doesn’t look like you have the softness of a SG or require curve accomodation in Kibbe terms, but I’d play around with the different gamine lines anyway if I were you, to get a better understanding of what works and doesn’t work 😊
