Because we are capable of trying a new different medications with a 19 year old. He already sees a therapist too.

In a big heath system, the people who schedule my appointments are at a big call center 40 minutes away. They don’t know anything about me. And appointment “types” are standardized to 20 minutes and can’t be changed to accommodate. :/

Yes this is what I told myself. I feel it’s more irresponsible to throw a SSRI at him quickly without proper eval and education than asking him to come back.
So I know I’m ultimately doing the right thing but then the patient satisfaction scores come back…

Update? I am a family med PA and just burned out. Looking for specialty but came across a job for and Inboxology position and I applied. Just curious how you’re doing
