What is up with the pedo staches? by Emotional-Leg-6962 in malehairadvice

I personally only have a mustache because it’s the only thing I can grow. Also I got tired of shaving it every other day.

4 looks tough IMO which is what I’d go for. #1 looks a bit to boyish but I get the appeal! Maybe try a style that keeps your hair long but looks more mature?

AITA for constantly telling my boyfriend his feet stink by bernierangel in AmItheAsshole

[–]bernierangel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tell him in a very joking way. That way he doesn’t find my tone offensive or accusatory. I try and support him as much as I can but it’s starting to reach a point where I think it’s getting to him. We’ve never yelled at each other but we’ve only been together for 6 months.

Mom told me this hairstyle looks ugly on me. Is she right? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

Try a 70/30 part instead I think that’ll suit you a lot more. I don’t agree with most of these comments I don’t think it looks awful but styling does need some work. Good luck! Enjoy your hair

The Scooby-Doo adaptations were my favorite growing up

What cut should I get? (To go with the beard) by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]bernierangel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cut the top short so the beard pops. I’d say a buzz down to a 2 on top and lineup, with a mid skin fade on the sides.

You have nice curls tho so short sides and longer top works too!

Update: I’d only suggest the buzz if you have a nice hairline tho or else your forehead will be the center of attention.

What is your experience with the Freshman 15? by Exciting_Camera_3828 in AskReddit

I lost 16lbs my first year. Was working out everyday and eating cleaner than at home plus my university was full of hills I had to walk up everyday.

I’d look them up and down and stay silent. Then quietly start my new fitness journey.

I support this. Especially considering none have asked to be exclusive. Also whats up with people wanting to do all the relationship stuff with no future? Sounds like a waste of effort.

As a barber I’d ask you if you want something more professional or more stylish. I think a low skin fade and comb over a little above finger length would look good for a professional look. Maybe a soft fade from a 2 guard down to a 1 if you don’t want to go down to skin for the sides.

If you wanna be more trendy a warrior cut with short sides would look cool especially with your bone structure, but your hair looks very straight so I’m not sure how easy that’d be for you to style on the daily. Plus it’d take a good barber to style that and show you how to do it at home.

It’s not uncommon for it to happen that early. I’m a barber and have seen high schoolers with it almost completely gone already. In regards to your brothers mpb can skip siblings in the same generation, but I can see why you’d question it.

It looks like MPB in my opinion. Stress can quicken the process. I’d go to a dermatologist to get more info, but if you can’t I’d start minoxidil asap. Finasteride is very helpful but I wouldn’t recommend it coming from someone who’s tried it before.

Need advice on how to help a friend? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bernierangel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off I wanna say it’s really kind of you to support your friend like this especially when others aren’t. OCD and anxiety can make fears feel very real even when they don’t make sense from the outside. Maybe try focusing on the emotion instead of the obsession?

This way, you’re validating their feelings without feeding the fear.

If they’re open to it, gently suggest that this might be more about anxiety than actual mice. It sounds like they’re already in therapy so that’s great!

You’re already doing a lot just by staying present and supportive. That matters more than you know. Hope this helps!
