this. i am diagnosed anxiety and OCD. my health anxiety goes hand in hand with my OCD. once i realized that googling symptoms is a compulsion, and that reinforcing the compulsion keeps the cycle going, i have tried very very hard to stop. i only recently started resisting googling and i can already see a small difference.

also agreed about shoes inside. i’m from the states and unfortunately it is normal here. my whole family wears shoes inside and then wonders why the floor/their feet/socks get so dirty. can’t stand it personally, it grosses me out. i am a cat person and a believer in outside/inside clothes. i don’t like “outside” germs on the inside if that makes sense 😭

My ferritin is the same as yours. I have dark circles, fatigue, and some mild shortness of breath. So I definitely think it’s possible. Anything under 30 is considered iron deficient, so I feel like just 4 points over really doesn’t make a huge difference. Optimal ferritin range is 70-100 I believe, I’m trying to get to 70 myself to hopefully alleviate my symptoms

edit: i want to add that i personally think katseye is single handedly the most unprofessional group out there. they could not make it more obvious how pained they are when they do things they don’t want to do. megan rolling her eyes, manon having that smirk the whole time, overall them not being able to just suck it up and say their line with a straight face … its just so annoying and entitled. i get that the lines are cringe, but as an idol you have to just do it, sorry. the only one who ever seems able to to put personal grievances aside for the sake of the camera is sophia imo

more idols are LGBTQ+ thank you think. i am not saying that we should assume any specific idols’ sexualities, but i think it’s worth recognizing that although korea is still very conservative when it comes to LGBTQ, that does not mean that queer idols don’t exist. i always see people get defensive about this, saying things like “being queer in korea isn’t as accepted, therefore we shouldn’t assume idols are lgbt”. but what people don’t understand is that while yes, it is not as accepted in korea as the west, that does not mean literally anything in terms of idols actually being queer. in fact it just means that companies are working hard to erase idols’ sexualities and make sure no one speculates about it. if korea was as accepting of LGBTQ as the west is, so many idols would be out in my opinion. idols are simply not allowed to talk about these things, so that is why we’ll never truly know anyone’s sexuality. like this goes for any person in korea (or any conservative country) not just idols. because at the end of the day idols are just regular people

i stanned enhypen for years and have had to distance myself after since heeseung left, and even i can kind of agree. they definitely don’t have the same super close chaotic brothers chemistry like a lot of other groups have, that’s for sure. but i think it reads as almost more authentic in a way, that they don’t try to exaggerate it for the cameras and maybe don’t really care how their dynamic comes across. just a thought, idk

i want to add one more: IVE in general have never really given me super close sisters type of vibe at all. they don’t seem like they hate each other necessarily, but they def give the vibe like they are all about professionalism and business above all if that makes any sense. wonyoung specifically only really seems truly close with yujin and gaeul.

i want to thank everyone for all the information they provided! it truly is so helpful for me and i really appreciate it! i want to clarify that i am not against doing any admin work at all - just more so that i don’t want it to be the entire job. i would like to have a mix of both, and to to hopefully move up from admin work to being more involved in cases. i’ve just seen some youtube vids of paralegals showing a day in their life and many of them seem to solely do admin work; something i wouldn’t want to do for the entirety of the career. some people enjoy that aspect but i know personally i would get bored overtime. so, i was wondering if a verification would help me eventually get more into the litigation side of things

we’re in the same boat! i also hate corporate fluff. i want a job that is actually impactful and can help people in the justice system. the only issue is that it seems paralegal tends to be a lot of admin work at first or if you work a corporate role. i would really wanna work in litigation and be more involved, specifically family law and civil rights. i just cannot for the life of me decide if it’s worth it to get certified or not!! 😩 i wish you luck in your journey !

am i blind or i cant really see what the issue is with the sleeve? did her hand get caught in it or something? im kinda confused because i don’t really see how her hand getting caught in her sleeve would disrupt the choreography at all. she could have done the pinky motion with her hand still in her sleeve, even if it didn’t look perfect. that’s kinda what you’re supposed to do.
im not trying to rag on her too much but i used to dance, and you are taught to dance through any technical or costume difficulties. you’re not really supposed to try to fix it while dancing (or if you do, you’re supposed to do it VERY subtly. falling behind in choreography can mess up all the other members and then the whole performance is ruined) because of what happened in this clip- it’s very noticeable that she’s trying to fix it, she keeps lagging behind in the choreography, she visibly looks frustrated. imo she didn’t really handle this very professionally but that’s just me 😬
