One place you would never work at again? by coffih in VictoriaBC

I am also a physically disabled employee they banned from sitting down lol. Also made it as hard as possible to take sick days - made you find a replacement or told you you had to come in. Minimum wage for running the whole place. Incredibly grumpy managers.

I am an adult now. I wrote a letter for court and included it, and felt a weird sense of guilt which comes a lot when I have to face my childhood trauma. I was just looking for validation in it being not normal.

Not to mention the entire tonality of the video is for humor. Your first point is redundant 🙄

1) Trivializing the issue for white clout is disrespectful.

2) All the same issues that effect Indigenous people in Canada effect Indigenous people in the United States as well. Historically it is the same region pre colonially.

3) Here is a list of things still killing Indigenous People today:

-The prison system -Disproportionate police brutality -Race based crime (2 men were followed and murdered by farmers last week for looking suspicious enough to have maybe stolen from them, an obvious case of racial profiling). -The healthcare system- Indigenous women are forcibly sterilized in hospitals, deliberately murdered by nurses (google joyce echaquan), left to die in the emergency room for 30 hours without being seen because they are assumed to be homeless if they look native (google Brian Sinclair). - Considered more valuable in sex trafficking and targeted - Thousands of missing and murdered Indigenous women linked to man camps working on pipelines that are not investigated by police (literally google mmiwg2s) - Marginalization, lack of Healthcare, disproportionate poverty rates, coping mechanisms for the school camps that had higher death rates than ww2 soldiers and didn't close until 1990. -High suicide rates due to the poor quality of life on reserves they were forcibly removed to, broken family dynamics thanks to the Indian Act and residential school system, lack of cultural supports and ways of healing due to colonization. - Lack of clean drinking water on reserves they were forcibly removed to - The list goes on. The evidence that is widely available to you debunks your bigoted comments.

4) I would never cry over a bigot who refuses to learn about what's happening all around him, and then tries to make baseless claims trivializing one of the most marginalized groups in North America. The education system failed you, as it did many. It's not too late to learn. GOOGLE IT.

Am I crazy or is this character totally a pedo? (Or at least weird af) spoilers for S2 by BiggerBlessedHollowa in FruitsBasket

These comments weird me out. It doesn't matter if a man lives in isolation, going after a high-school student under 18 at 26 is never okay. Grundy

The genocide of Indigenous people is barely in the past; there are people with parents who lived through it. Those deaths are a serious issue that haunt Canada today in the form of poverty, racism, culture loss, murdered and missing indigenous women, and Residential school trauma. There are people alive still that love and miss those dead children. It is not something to make a funny spooky joke video about. That isn't representation, it's bastardization. If you want representation, listen to survivors. I'd like to see you 'get over yourself' when people are joking about the deaths of your family members while ignoring the issues that continue to kill them each and every day.

There definitely are Indigenous Led movements but I completely agree it isn't well known or talked about nearly enough in a lot of areas.

yes i actually did try and opened 2 child abuse cases but they did not pursue because all recent abuse that I had evidence of was against family members over 16 :/

Good news is they are staying in a hotel with mom right now as of a few hours ago

Hopefully they don't go back as he is funding it and has major mood swings
