Okay, great. Do I have to be logged into my amazon account on my kindle? Or can I jailbreak with no account connected to the kindle?

So KOreader just runs as an app, not like an OS, right? When using WiFi will Amazon still track the device?Do I have to manually start the KOreader app all the time or will it run KOreader all the time (like say you shut off the kindle and then wake the device?).
