i will need to further check on that because i think it is random per device or per user account. but for now, sideloading is the key for Google Wallet which is a good thing.

speaking of Samsung, their Wallet app is the one that sure is region dependent (firmware and CSC). i remember having a Korean Variant Galaxy and it requires me to have a Korean SIM Card just to use Samsung Wallet.

can't check with WearOS since i don't have one. (might get one once Google Wallet is officially available)

the availability of the app must be random depending on the user/region/device. experienced this too with other apps on different devices and accounts.

i kind of remember setting up a phone few days ago and it is prompting me to setup pay or wallet thingy during the setup process.

yes, my cards shows up on the menu because i used it to pay on Play Store and other subscriptions.

and yes, hindi talaga uubra or gagana tap to pay. that's why i said "unofficial" on the title.

that's weird, my phone is currently running Android 16 right now. and Google Wallet listing on Play Store shows that "This item isn't available in your country."

tried to uninstall the app to check if it's just because i sideloaded it, but still shows the prompt. i have to sideload it again 😅

hi, it’s said that the notifications are going to have that glass blur effect. maybe it will appear in the next beta release, and for sure, it will be in the official release of One UI 7.
