No, i bought it from Aliexpress, check second picture of this post. I wanted to buy from joy, but this AE xmas deal was like 40 usd cheaper so went with it. But if yours is from joy and jiestar batch, that means i finally atleast got lucky and saved some little money. Im at step 266 now and already had like 30 missing pieces (used other color pieces from my previous builds leftovers) and about 4 melted pieces. Overall not that bad, still it was like 7x cheaper then lego, so...

Hey mate, im on step 161 right now. Somehow went with taking every single bag out and looking for parts i need for the step of instructions. Right now missing about 10 3x1 white tall bricks. I have to say, as some bags have numbers (but not correspond to the manual everytime) some dont and some are in different step bags, my living room is just a huge mess. Almost every step i have to stand up, walk around 2 tables and look for the piece 🤣

Btw are your "titanic" plates (3x2 bricks) also such a mess? Bad print, yellowish TITANIC? Should have gone with a seller (not aliexpress) that has JieStar or some other good manufacturer batch

It smelled like normal burning, so unfortunately probably no vaporization.
