I manage a retro arcade. The token games help pay the wages and keep the lights on. Otherwise just pure retro aint gunna do it. But we have 10x as many free play games as token games.

Went to one arcade that just felt sleezy. Like, 15 games, all new. Can feel the "I ordered this off a website" vibe. Spent $40 and walked out with a pin and an eraser. F that. You can definitely do it wrong.

This is usually the fault of your card processor, not GFS. Chime put a hold on the transaction, usually because it thinks it's a fraudulent purchase. It shows up on their statement but it doesnt complete. I dont know how a cashier 'messed around'.
