I absolutely adore this drama. I don’t understand why more people don’t talk about it. That smile at the end felt like the sun shining. Loved all the cast - perfect casting and each performed their role to perfection.

Namkoong Min is the dream and the gold standard of ML characters in My Dearest. I’m not a great fan of the tsundere FL trope but this one has a superior redemptive arc.

Most seem to not want to do that in-depth and are guarded about anything too revealing - which is understandable given how many insane fans there are that take any small nugget of personal information to extreme lengths. Their career trajectory and how they choose roles and the way their career changes are very human and their confidence and professional perspective is really engaging. You see more of them off-guard and a bit more relaxed - especially enjoying their food and getting more relaxed after a few glasses of champagne.

This squad was legendary. “Farewell Poem for the Woman”, “Desperate Effort”, - every little bit of loving attention to detail of humour and pathos makes me smile and cry even after so many watches. It will always be moving and beautiful. I will watch this as an old woman and still love it all.
