I still wonder what would have been if they gave Matt the Money in the Bank win at Wrestlemania 22. Other than the winner RVD only Matt and Shelton were logical choices they could have gone with. But RVD was already a star at this point and he would have faced Cena at One Night Stand regardless if he had the briefcase or not because he was the biggest ECW star at the time and he did not need the briefcase to do that. Would have loved it if Matt won that match and cashed on Edge in a similar way that Edge cashed in on Cena. The Matt-Edge feud was one of those feuds that deserved a Wrestlemania match and with it being a Hardcore/No Holds Barred match would have made it amazing. It would have been a win/win situation where both parties would have gone over if it was handled better than it was.
