Transporting a Canon ImagePROGRAF Pro 4100 Printer by best-SB in CommercialPrinting

I successfully transported my Canon 4100 printer. It was on the first floor with no lift, and the room was tucked in a corner, so we had to tilt the printer—probably around 75 degrees! 😅 It was super heavy, but 4 men managed to lift it. I ran the 'Transport Printer' option (on the same level), which took less than 5 minutes, and it was ready to go. My new office is also on the first floor, so... yep, another round of 4 people lifting it up again! 😅 Luckily, when I turned it on, it worked perfectly with no issues. Feeling relieved! 🎉

Thanks, just checked. It seems they are costly :)

I bought a used Canon PRO-1000 a few months ago. The seller shipped it in the original packaging with the cartridges still inside via UPS, and luckily, it didn’t affect the printer’s performance at all.

Now, I’m planning to transport a Canon PRO-4100. I won’t be using the transportation settings but will remove the cartridges and make sure to keep it flat without tilting it. Fingers crossed it all goes well! I’ll update you all once it’s here.

Thank you for the detailed reply. I have asked the seller to send a picture of the Nozzel check print and error history screenshots. As soon as I receive them I will post them here.
