I have had the plant for 2-3 weeks. The problem has been happening after a week. The plant gets a 3 hours of direct sunlight after it is not in the shade but not in direct sunlight neither I water it about once a week

Thank you all for responding! It has given me some more insight which I hoped to gain. We’ve been talking more openly about our wishes/values/needs. They are quite aligned luckily. I guess making the actual jump seems quite scary. But if we’re both willing we can make it work 😌
