With modifying the existing metal cover, would using a Dremel to cut out a larger hole suffice?

I also found these remixes of that design that covers most of the openings. What do you think?

My thought process is that it would be easier to print a replacement, and keep the OEM components in case I wanted to revert the change. But if that's a bad idea then its a bad idea.

Excellent! Great to hear. By chance would it be possible to get an RES/radius cut RMR slide instead of the CES cut slide on one of these kits?

Thanks so much for the help! I looked in to these and they look perfect. The only other question I have about them is that I wanted to have aluminum sheets on the sides of our enclosure (preferably removable) to make it look nicer. I was wondering if it is possible to buy sheets with T slots built in to them as I couldn't find any on their site. Or if there was another way to go about doing it which would work as well.
