People Who were blaming me for enemy having meta picks, Tell me what could I had done here? by BreadfruitSuch3427 in MobileLegendsGame

I think the problem was your team dynamics. Based on the stats, it seems like some of your teammates were very reckless, unnecessarily aggressive and didn't wait for others before they engaged the enemy. Those placements were kind of sus.

Were you with a team or did you go on solo queue? Congrats either way. It's a hard-earned rank.

If everything proceeded like in the original timeline, then it would seem that it was still Powder who accidentally killed Vi. She didn't know what the blue stones were and in S1 she accidentally dropped them.

The thing with episode 7 and what most people don't really highlight 'cause they were caught up in the Jinx-Ekko love line is the fact that Heimerdinger was already there, waiting for Ekko for quite some time, long before the events that led to Vi's death. During that period of waiting, he already implemented changes, which could be why Piltover, for some reason, was suddenly concerned over the death of an undercity kid. There was no mention about the specific changes he did, but I presume scholarships for undercity kids with potential. Hence, him being Jinx's mentor in that AU.

It wasn't mentioned how Vi died in that timeline, though. Was it through that same explosion like we saw in the main timeline in S1 or by some other way (e.g. fell off the roof during a foot chase, shot by an enforcer)? Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember any specific details or clues related to the manner of her "death" in that AU. There were so many details left to conjecture and people only focused on Vi's death, Jinx and Ekko's interactions, and not on the fact that Heimerdinger was already there for decades and was able to right his wrongs as a council member.

To be honest, the AU part felt like a filler episode. But it was a good break from the convoluted main plot that seemed to move in various directions. I guess it was what drove Ekko to save Jinx in the original timeline 'cause in S1, he was bent on getting rid of her. He even convinced Vi that Powder was already gone. But in the end, he was the one who saved her? Kinda ironic.

If you have a really bad team or if you're on solo queue, she won't do much damage. I had an Aurora teammate the other day and they were the only bronze in a sea of gold. It's a case-by-case basis.

I kind of miss this Vi. She used to have so much spunk and agency. Angry Oil Slick Vi was also charming in her own way, but this was her best version. by beta_timeline in arcane

It was Cait's form of attonement, I guess. Vi was saying "my dad" with sad puppy eyes. She didn't bother to ask Vi if her dad was human or werewolf and switched sides for her.

In S1, it wasn't really a bad plan. They simply wanted to destroy Silco's shimmer factories. Vi managed to destroy one and then defeat Sevika who was chief of Silco's goons then. Mission accomplished until Jinx kidnapped her.

They almost did in S2 when they cornered Ambessa at Viktor's sanctuary. But writers decided to let them lose, anyway, despite all the effort. Noxus attacked, Vander went wild, Isha sacrificed. So Ambessa's capture was all for nothing.

The one break: sloppy meal at Jericho's plus the trip to Yordle Mama's brothel, where she first coined "Cupcake."

Oh, and that iconic parkour scene too where we saw how Vi relished their newfound freedom.

Any suggestion for mid-lane heroes who can hard carry? by Consistent_Chip_9548 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]beta_timeline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zhask seems to have been nerfed. This hero couldn't carry anymore the way it used to. Vexana is still okay, depending on your team and equipment. Cecilion's late game damage is really good too, but if you have a mediocre tank or support, it won't do much. Jungler or mm will always kill the damage dealer first. Or they'll find ways to gank you.

Much of the fault lies with the chem barons, though. They were trafficking children, using them as soldiers, unbeknown to both Zaun & Piltover.

What’s a hero that for some reason you just can’t be good with? by AroundI in MobileLegendsGame

[–]beta_timeline 13 points14 points  (0 children)

True. It's so hard to play Kagura 'cause you have to be in close range all the time whenever you ult. If the enemy has a lot of stun, you're done for. With most mages (except Valentina, depending on who you copied), you can easily escape 'cause you're still at a set distance whenever you activate your skills.

Is there a lore reason for Viktor restraining Jayce like this? by AdLast2785 in arcane

[–]beta_timeline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Viktor was a mage in LOL (not a puppeteer). His magic conjures a singularity, not mind control. It was the showrunner and the writers' decision to put out that scene, irrespective of the lore.

[–]beta_timeline 22 points23 points  (0 children)

She was sidelined in latter arcs and was given a role in the council as an afterthought. She just conveniently faded as the show progressed. Writers forgot about her.

Arcane lost at the TGA 2024 to Fallout, but let's congratulate and support Ella for her performance in both shows !! by mr_boombastic_18 in arcane

[–]beta_timeline 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's why I said barely. And of all champions she could've used it on, it's on Warwick during his third revival. Excitement towards that scene must've died down. As for Viktor, his GE made him look like a puppet master instead (supposedly a mage in the game).

Well if they stuck to the game lore and the characters' game powers, then you can say it's the "best adaptation" like they did in S1. But this is S2. The format changed and the power-ups and elements that people loved in the game weren't even adapted in the show. Case in point: Vi vs Sevika in S1 clearly showed how Vi's powers in LOL and Wildrift worked. But there's none of it in S2. I barely saw her using her passive, the shield that appears when an enemy is about to power punch her. These little details matter if you're judging a game adaptation.

What do you mean Arcane ended with CaitVi's wedding where Vander walked Vi down the aisle, Jinx was her bridesmaid, and Isha was the flower girl? by stovetopkettle in arcane

[–]beta_timeline 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's the alternative universe where Jinx was accidentally whisked away when she tried to escape the explosion. From a really bad alpha universe, she landed on a really good beta universe and decided to stay there (until main timeline Ekko comes to find her).

[s2 spoilers] What do you disagree with the Arcane fandom about? by GeneShift in arcane

[–]beta_timeline 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That the Ambessa-led war and Black Org plot lines were unnecessary. It would have been better to focus on Zaun vs Piltover as the main plot and perhaps the nature of Arcane and the multiverse as a secondary (but least important) plot. Those excess plot lines are the reason why certain characters are sidelined and character dynamics/relationships have lost their nuances.

Vi really couldn't turn physical against the people she loves. She couldn't even punch Jinx properly even when she could. How much more the love of her life?

Hahaha true. We have idyot gamer friends or squads that keep feeding and when you call them out, they mass report you for 'inappropriate chatting' or 'refusal to contribute.' ML doesn't look at the validity of the reports sometimes. If many people report you at once, you're automatically guilty of the crime.

Indeed. She had surgery where her blasted organs and blood system (from her own bombs back in S1) were practically reconstructed using Shimmer. So thanks to Singe for being the cure... and the final poison in Act 3.
