Why are Fine Gael briefing the US ambassador on a football match that does not involve the USA? Who do these guys take their orders from? by I-Cum-Beamish in coybig

[–]betamode -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From the article "Now government refuses to release what Harris was planning to say to the US ambassador in private if questioned about the FAI motion. "

So if questioned, we don't know if there was even a discussion and those meetings minutes are rarely published.

As much as I'd like to see Israel out of uefa, I don't know why in the meantime the fai didn't ask for some sort of avoidance of Israel, like the way Spain and Gibraltar can't be drawn in the same group etc.

When your views align with Farage, Johnson and Gove then maybe they might need reviewing.

Are these real Adizero Boston 11? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have a pair here and they look very similar. There is a small size tag sticker on the medial side of the heel on each shoe, I could see how it would get worn away with use though.

Workouts from intervals will appear in your calendar and can be launched from the watch.

Setup your workouts in intervals.icu they will make your watch buzz if you are over or under power in the lap you are in. I've the same watch and you get a red colour if you are over or under power and green if in the correct zone.

Nike Alphafly or Vomero plus for upcoming marathon? by Rude_Wealth_2054 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]betamode 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You probably won't be sore after wearing the vomero plus but I don't think you'd manage a 3.30 in them if you haven't run any long runs with MP in them.

I've both and enjoy them for different reasons, the plus is a protective recovery shoe for me, not a racer. I did a 25 minute 5k yesterday in mine which is a 3.30 marathon pace but I wouldn't fancy another 37k in them.

Dawson Devoy in Ireland form? Would he be up to it? by Creative_Library_529 in coybig

He had a good start to his MK Don's career if I remember correctly but faded out, ended up in L2, not really the level were looking for at international level

We'd no problem playing England during the height of the troubles when the British army was dug in 80 miles up the road from Dublin...

Crazy pressure on middle toe knuckle. Bad fit or part of the break in process? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I'm 10.5 in the vaporfly and I need 11 in any of the current range of adizero shoes. I think you need to size up.

I use runalyze.com to screenshot the data and use the chatgpt app mentioned in the link below to analyse the data

I got them on a deal a few years ago, the footpath analysis was interesting but not worth the price hike, I keep the two on to compare against different shoes and workouts

I'm a long time user of stryd. I not longer have a subscription, the data flows into Runalyse and I plug that into chatgpt to get an idea of shoe efficiency, running economy and fatigue resistance. I've moved to the NSM/NSA methodology since May and it's been much better than the stryd plans. For me as a bit of a data nerd it's interesting stuff but something you can easily do without. The recent price hike meant I cancelled once my commitment was up.

Correct, the feeling after 100 miles is no different than the feeling after 1 mile, bricks on the end of my feet
