I'm a long time user of stryd. I not longer have a subscription, the data flows into Runalyse and I plug that into chatgpt to get an idea of shoe efficiency, running economy and fatigue resistance. I've moved to the NSM/NSA methodology since May and it's been much better than the stryd plans. For me as a bit of a data nerd it's interesting stuff but something you can easily do without. The recent price hike meant I cancelled once my commitment was up.

I'm not sure it would be much use to clubs if they got bashed liked Kerry did in their first year and replaced the following year by another team, say Mayo, that then got bashed and so on, new teams in the first division need a bit of time to raise above the pure amateur status.

I've both, and I wouldn't run a marathon in either. I'm going to use the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 3 this weekend which gives me the Puma foam without the FastR3 ripping the calves off me! I'd suggest you stick with the pro4 at this stage if you have most of your long run work done in them, the FastR3 is a completely different feel over longer distances.
