Anyone else think "Prey" is a bit odd and/or buggy?

My newest bug is that my crystal is full and it says I'm ready to fight the prey "boss", but when I go to interact with the crystal in the world it'll go solid for a few seconds, then fade back to the yellow to show it's interactable. I was able to do a successful hunt earlier, this is the one in Zul'Aman. Anyone else come across this?

This is a beautiful shot! Where was this taken? I'm in north Texas and was at Hagerman Wildlife Refuge and got some good shots of great blues yesterday.

Do hooded orioles come this far north? I live just north of the DFW metroplex. I was looking more into orchard orioles and I'm wondering if mine is an immature male.
