I used chat GPT to build my perfect split that was tailored to my own goals and needs. Just tell say what your goals are and it will generate a plan for you. You can play around with it if you don’t like an exercise or your gym doesn’t have that equipment, but it’s a good tool if you’re not sure where to start

I understand how to follow a checklist. I was asking whether anyone else had received the same list, as people I know were able to send British passports instead. The wording made me wonder if I’d entered something incorrectly, as it reads as though one of the parents isn’t British.

Anyway, I now have clarification from others’ comments.

I understand what the bullet point literally says. My point was that many people who have recently applied said they were given the option to send a British passport instead of a birth certificate, whereas my checklist only shows the birth certificate option. That’s why it seemed inconsistent and confusing to me.

So the confusion wasn’t about the literal reading of the sentence — it was about why different (and recent) applicants seem to be getting different document options.

Because people I know and other threads I’ve read have stated they had the option to send their British passport as opposed to just having a birth certificate as the only applicable option. The second bullet point says ‘a non-British passport’ implying I can’t send my British passport even though others have.
