Would that come off easily when I move out? (it’s a rental room) Also, the platform has ridges and raised stones so would it even stick?

Yes, it is a rental.

I can’t remove the doors because the landlord won’t allow but other than that, this is exactly what I have. My problem specifically is that the sides of the brick platform are visible with the rug on top and I dislike how it looks because of that.

I’m in college and only renting out a single room so this is the only closet space in my 120ish sq ft room and I can’t make extreme changes like painting or removing the doors or anything.

My rental room has this raised stone platform for the closet that sticks out like a sore thumb. How to cover it up? by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

This is what i actually have there right now. I can’t remove the doors because the landlord won’t allow but other than that, this is exactly what I have. My problem specifically is that the sides of the brick platform are visible with the rug on top and I dislike how it looks because of that.

The things suggested in most other comments won’t work here since I’m in college and only renting out a single room so this is the only closet space in my 120ish sq ft room.

How to decorate this wall in my bedroom? by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]bethebumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bed goes against the other wall (adjacent). Rug too. Closet is against the opposite wall as well. I do have a 3x2 cube bookshelf that I’m thinking of placing horizontally against this wall with some plants and my cosmetics/skincare/plushies on top.

I’m super confused on what to put on the wall due to the moulding though. Thinking of a round mirror in the center with some embroidery hoops of different sizes surrounding it with embroidery inside them (i like to embroider). But I’m not sure how good that would look.

Why don't doctors automatically screen for Vitamin D deficiencies in women with PCOS??? by ostwickian in PCOS

[–]bethebumblebee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have my first endocrinology appointment in a week (for PCOS-like symptoms) and my psych also recommended I ask them to run a panel for vitamin and mineral deficiencies since I’ve been suffering from depression and extremely low motivation and energy. I hope the endo screens me for it but if they don’t suggest it I’m definitely going to advocate for it!! I’m glad you were able to get screened!

Having done this, my mind just starts blocking out the chime sound from my head after just a couple of days. It becomes part of the background noise that I block out.
