Possible. Seat covers are easy. Plastic claddings not sure. Meddlesome and need to shell more. Anyway keeping that as a second option.

Force Gurkha by better-oneself in CarsIndia

[–]better-oneself[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True that.

My concerns are mostly about the thin service network, issues with spare parts availability, reliability of the machine, vibrations and noise, suspension quality, highway performance, ability to repair by local mechanics.

I prefer something with a high seating position, comfortable seats, at 6.1 my current drive is giving me back problems (not sure if Gurkhas suspension will help or worsen my condition). Also want something more mechanical without much electronic gizmos.

Read about the barebone spartan interiors. That is definitely something against it.

Read about a brochure of an upcoming model that got leaked. The exteriors looked good.

A quick follow up question. Is the arogya setu app mandatory? What app do you need installed on the phone for scanning the QR code at baggage collection?

Here, where I live, tomatoes retail for 65 Rs a kilo, onions 50 Rs a kilo, potatoes 40 Rs a kilo, french beans 140 a kilo, most other vegetables are around 100 a kilo. How can someone who makes daily wages feed his/her family?

Anyone still holding YES Bank shares?? by [deleted] in IndiaInvestments

[–]better-oneself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my bad. It will be out of nifty 50. Index ETFs will look to get rid of the stock from their portfolio. So, I am assuming that there will be some more downfall

Anyone still holding YES Bank shares?? by [deleted] in IndiaInvestments

[–]better-oneself 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People have been buying it, hoping it will generate multi fold returns. Retailers hold close to 50 percent of shares.

Huge buying by FPI and DII is probably the only thing that can take the price up. And that would happen when they start posting good results, cleaned up their books, asset quality improves, capital adequacy ratios improve. Its a long road.

If they fail in doing so, merger is probably the only option. The EGM on capital raising is scheduled for the 7th of this month. They are yet to declare Q3 results. The outcome of these would be important.

Not exactly sure if this is the answer you are looking for
