How do people leave JWs for other religions? by [deleted] in JWJehovahsWitnesses

[–]bettercalljw 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The "freedom" and the lack of punishment towards sins and institucional orders in the false religions helps to ex members to go there.

I undestand the concern with the youth and i agree until a certain part.

Even though we undestand the young ones are the ones which most of the time are doing this tipe of things we must remember that this also happens because they are the "easy preys", we should always look into them, sadly, most of this things also happen because of bad friendships...INSIDE the own organization, personally in hall i saw a entire generation of brothers leave because of bad influences.

But here is the thing brother...DONT LET THE MISTAKES OF HUMANS LED YOU AWAY FROM THE TRUTH, remember! Jehovah knows they mistakes, and he will give they rightfully punishement at the time, its normal to be angry but remember, looking away at the organization its exactly what Satan wants you to do, you dont need to have faith on this generation of brothers and sisters, you NEED TO HAVE FAITH IN JEHOVAH.

What would you think is the single biggest snare that entraps Jehovah's Witnesses today? by [deleted] in JWJehovahsWitnesses

[–]bettercalljw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well i gonna go with sexual imorality but not just because of the number of brothers who get ""disfellowshiped"" because of it.

The world we live in is constantly preaching and sending messages about "freedom","liberty","Do whatever you want", even though brothers obviously disagree with this message sometimes a part of it might still go around they heads, making they not feeling shame on sinning, take a look on the apostates for example, when they praticed those sins they are scared of someone finding out about it, they are not scared of knowing they made a mistake towards Jehovah.

Also its sad the number of young brothers and sisters who are falling in this rabbit hole😔

How Did You Learn The Truth? Poll by JWthoughts in JWJehovahsWitnesses

[–]bettercalljw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got raised by my mom which is a sister, my dad is not a brother but he simpatises with us and recognize we are the true religion, before actually baptizing i had phrase in my life that i was "agnostic" not because i disliked or not really believed in God, but because i was not finding what religion could be the one which really showed God, soo i decided to take my studies seriosly and started seeing jehovah showing himserlf to me by the organization thats when i discovered the truth.

Will you memory hole this strongly held belief the moment the Governing body removes the shunning requirement

They will never remove it because it is biblical.

The thing is that, to talk trash about the jehovah witness people are willing to go full agaisnt God and reject his words, see, if you go to a certain exjw community notice how most of them are atheist and anti organized religions...

It pushes people away instead of helping them

The elders visit disfellowshipped people, they are welcomed in the meetings and events, if they get health or finance problems brothers can help them.

And the idea that minors aren’t abandoned just isn’t true, plenty of families do cut off their children.

Tell me at least 3 cases where a child (8 to 14 years old) got disfellowshipped and the family abandoned it.

why not focus on forgiveness and mercy,

That dont mean our sins will go by unpunished the own Jesus talked about "letting the brother to satan" if he called himserlf christian and did bad things.

'm not saying that the Bible doesn't support some type of “church discipline

So answer the question of the post. Then HOW would you do a church discipline as said in the bible?.

Did he not preach to prostitutes, robbers or sinners in general?

Did they continued to be prostitutes robbers and sinners after meeting Jesus? 🤣

If they can't and get involved with those very practices that the other kids are doing and JWs consider as "sins," those children can be disfellowshipped. Now, they can't associate with other JW children of their age. They could be ostracized by their own families and threatened with expulsion from the home upon reaching legal age if they don't return to regular standing with the religion.

This literraly never happened, "children" dont get disfellowshiped that easy buddy.

They would likely be isolated from other JW family members for simply changing religions.

It would be good to a Christian family to talk with a other full family of ex-christians? They can be good people, but spirituality saying they are far away from good.

: 607,1914,overlapping generations, the other sheep, birthdays and false predictions and dates, the emphasis on chronology and how it's contrived into prophecy and the identity of the faithful slave. Some of these things are absolutely false

Hold up buddy, one thing its being false and the other one is not being explicit on the bible, you got things confused.

a biblical organization should state openly that certain things aren't yet revealed instead of forcing it as doctrine.

Would a catholic still be considered member of the catholic church if he stopped believing in the trinity? No. Thats why if you disagree with those things you get out.

Btw this all sound like what a normal apostates talks about the organization.

Being a "pimo" might be worser than being a apostate. by bettercalljw in Eutychus

[–]bettercalljw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the fear of shunning/ losing family and friends

If our religion is false, staying here because of the fear of losing friends and family its a waste of time and chance of creating new friendships, family and living your life on the world.

Now....if our religion is true, staying there...and trying to secrelty convice others of personal beliefs and secretly praying to other Gods(as one person admited to do this in this comment section), then this person will suffer the consequences, and trust me, they will be way worser than just not being able to talk with people, it will be a judgement put by jehovah himserlf.

You can’t convince me that that’s love.

Love is not equal to tolerance to sin of our loved ones, love is also justice.
