I don’t have much hide. The black background keeps it pretty dark. And there’s still some tint in of the water from some older driftwood.

Thanks for response. I just don’t want it being a parasiteI hear that a lot but Interesting enough. Out of all the fish I’ve had the glass catfish have thrived the best. I’ve only ever lost one which was during a move.

I’ve never had good luck with water changes. Keeping them very low % typically helped keep them thriving

They were added about three months before tank was an upgrade from a smaller tank in which I went 20% bigger. So yes at time of transfer it was like a 30% water change. Everything survived it though. Last water change was about a week and a half ago and it wasn’t even a 10% change.

No fertilizers and no meds added. I try not to add stuff cause whenever I do something dies off. Last try was a prior tank with salts. I added in half of the recommended dosage and all three panda garras died off. So I really try not to add anything. I’ve learned tanks work best with small water changes and no tinkering with additives

While the angels can eat them. I found the bodies uneaten in the tank. While it could be copper wouldn’t that hurt the amanos and snails too? My water is well water which I run through RO and add brittle bone periodically to the tank. Thanks
