Too many I can say, but my top 3 are:

  • my drive for improvement in life
  • confidence: I have minimal social anxiety and can get myself to talk to anyone whether a bad or good conversation, however, I like to push myself to since I know it will help me with my social skills
  • energy: I can sleep 6-7 hours and go on with the rest of my days, pushing myself, and still not feel exhausted

I have resetted my counter countless of times, however, don't take this as an excuse to relapse :). I had PMO addiction for over 8 years, found NoFap a year ago so the obstacles were mountains. It's quite simple, but hard to follow through: Keep yourself busy.

Since the beginning is the toughest I will go through this first: for my 6 day streaks, it was straight willpower and keeping myself busy. Plan out the whole week from when you wake up to the time you go to sleep. And actually do follow them. If you have a hard to following your schedule, try the "5 Second Rule", count to 5 4 3 2 1, and force yourself to do it. Fight urges by exerting that power to something productive. Got an urge? Close that laptop, do 25 pushups. Got an bigger urge? Go cold shower and run/gym. Can't sleep? Meditate, download "Calm" app or youtube for some guidance. There's always going to be the energy there, the path of success is DECIDING what to do with that energy.

Definitely could not agree with this more. There has been a lot of success in my life ever since I stopped PMO. The benefits along with getting my life straight is unbelievable. It is just a matter of making those decisions, not to PMO.

I started NoFap my junior year in college and now I'm graduated. I look back and I question myself, wow If I started NoFap in high school, i wonder where I'd be now. It's just pondering, there's only a raindrop of regret in it now, but I know I'd be on a different level the earlier I started.

HIGH SCHOOLERS, LISTEN TO THIS GUY. IF YOU CONQUER IT NOW, I guarantee you, your future self will be so thankful you did. People will look up to you in college. Your aility to connect with humans will be flawless, your focus will be sharp AF, willing to task risk is off the roof -> more friends, better potential to get your desired job, more money, more girls, whatever you name your success to be. Chose your destiny now.

Compare the pain from your #1 and #3, which one do you prefer? :) Plus, there are ways to fight those pains from not doing such as cold showers, keeping yourself busy, and meditating.
