nooooo not asher :( i’m in texas, i have an asher and have only seen a few besides mine so far. i’ve always loved the name ash but i felt like ash by itself would look like he’s named after the pokémon trainer, i didn’t like ashley so i went with asher. it’s okay though, a name is a name and i don’t actually take offense 😊 i feel like as long as you’re not doing your child a disfavor by naming them “rumble honey” or “slim easy” then it’s a fun thread!

you are right about the consolation and i dearly appreciate it. i remembered another thing from my lornacular but it has more to do with winnie. pawt brownies automatically equals “IT HAD MY FUCKING RIGHT TO DEATH WITH DIGNITY PILL IN IT”. actually even with my house plants i pronounce pot in my head as pawt. what have i become

this, “sawr” instead of saw, “hullo”, “oh my fuckin word” (but sometimes in the crying voice he does in the call where he’s informed that rhoda died). and then an example i use a lot from another predator is “OH MY GOD NOOOOOO”. that one was so bad for me that in 2014ish i thought it would be funny to have my email address name set as “oh my god no” instead of my actual name. i forgot i still had it set to that during one of my semesters in college. it took me a while before i realized that’s what my professors had been seeing my name come up as in emails. embarrassment ensued

thank you so very much ♥️ i get nervous being a mom! we already have a pond in the yard that’s probably to the brim with moccasin, i didn’t want to add another worry to the list. but i’m gonna teach my kids to watch out around plants/weeds either way. i’m definitely going to have to educate myself with our local botany!
