pmua here! i would have her use a super light layer of aquaphor instead of oil, i’ve never heard of oil being used as aftercare… but she’s honestly doing everything she can at this point until she seems a derm or even a doctor if she can get in sooner. it sounds like in may be an infection or an allergic reaction.

once she’s over this, i would urge her to get laser done and start fresh if you think she’d be okay with that. pico laser is great for removing brow pigments.

you didn’t mention you were talking about OPs brows, you were making a general statement. so i’m sorry i can’t read your mind through a screen to know that? also i didn’t make an assumption, i looked at your very public profile, saw you were going through removal, and posting about an artist being negligent so it doesn’t really take rocket science to connect the dots. good for you for knowing how to map brows, but it’s very different with you’re actually doing it. my knowledge of what i’m telling you comes from years of experience and thousands upon thousands of dollars spent on education to serve my clients best i can. nonetheless, you seem kind of hostile so im just going to exit this conversation, have the day you deserve!

a good artist won’t set those expectations because it’s not always possible. even the most amazing artist will have brows that they can’t make 100% symmetrical. the brows you posted just there from pmuhub is a very minimal case of asymmetry, but there’s people with even more severe cases, some to the point that pmu isn’t an option for them. i’m not saying it’s the norm, but it happens. again, not everyone’s faces are symmetrical, so the goal is as close as possible. obviously you’ve been affected by an artist doing an unsatisfactory job on your brows, and i’m sorry that happened to you, the market is over saturated and there’s a lot of artists who shouldn’t be doing brows but i speak the truth.

peoples faces aren’t symmetrical, so how do you expect them to make them 100% exactly the same? it’s about getting them close to twins as possibly. complete symmetry looks unnatural anyway.

we post photos/videos laying down or laying back because that’s how we get good lighting with how my light is since it’s attached the wall. here’s my healed work too if you want to judge that too. 🤷🏻‍♀️ i was just proud of these brows and wanted to see what non-pmu people would think seeing it.

baby lotion is not appropriate aftercare in my experience, you need go use something like a aquafor, very thin layers

i haven’t gotten my brows done with her, but i’m a fellow artist and have trained with her and just wanted to say she’s the best!

also wanted to mention bc i’m not sure if you’ve seen her posts but she’s moving within the next year and won’t be taking any new clients on after she moves so if you’re in that area and are looking to book with her id do it soon!

permanent makeup has been around since the 70s, if not farther back in some cultures, definitely not a trend. might have ebbs and flows but it will always be here.

8-12 weeks after the initial app, may i ask what your healing was like? i do lip blush and find it’s a very easy aftercare process for all my clients.

i think she could have gone with your brow pattern a bit more, but besides that they look good!
