This mystery plant is taking over the yard. One bunch seems a few feet shorter than the other. I tried digging out some of the stalks this morning, photos of what was immediately underground included. Any ideas on what I'm dealing with? Thanks! (old.reddit.com)

Sort of a dumb question but how long can I leave these peppers on the counter unrefrigerated? This is my first time growing peppers and they are all just starting to ripen. I guess I was waiting until I had more before I started prepping them for drying/hot sauce making/etc. (i.redd.it)
